They are easier to manipulate, hold the shape of my tall riding boots well, smell terrific, and employ less plastic (they are cheaper too)!

I really can't believe I did not find these sooner! These boot shapers are perfect for my tall boots and are so easy to use. All you have to do is insert them into your boots, they form to your boot and your boots stand tall and do not flop. Now that my boots are not flopping all over each other and I have more room, my closet looks neater and I can buy more boots! I was also in love the moment I opened the box and smelled the wonderful smell of cedar! So not only are my boots standing tall, but since I inserted the cedar sachets into my boots, my stinky foot odor will hopefully disappear. My favorite thing about these is how wonderful they smell! They add a nice scent to my closet. I got these mainly for my mid-shaft lenght boots and they've worked perfectly. If you are looking for something for tall or over the knee boots then these might not work as well. The included plastic insert, however, has come in handy more than I thought. It really helps enhance the shape of your boots while being stored.

I ordered this after excellent reviews and the rrbiews were correct. This item is sturdy to help boot frowning at ankle. This is a fantastic item. The sturdiness and the sachets are well made. They came well packed. My daughter loved them so zi ordered two more!

The product was exactly as described and fit my riding boots great, but the package was missing one of the two plastic inserts that go with the cedar satchels.
