Works great
Saved me a bunch of time recycling the copper out of some house wire from a building demolition. Easy to setup and use.

A relatively inexpensive wire stripper that works well.
The stripper is easy to use & does what it's supposed to. You can strip wire as small as #12 AWG stranded, I've had very little success with #14 stranded & gave up trying to strip anything smaller than #12. Strips #10 like a dream. It's truly a joy to use this stripper, but takes a little getting used to before you find it's sweet spots. The biggest problem with it is setting the blade too deep. If you do, it will cut right through a strand of wire, about every inch of wire length. Then when you peel the insulation off, there are no gloves on earth that will save you from being impaled by thousands of little individual strands of stranded wire & they go deep & are quite painful. So, you have to set the blade so it only cuts 70% or so through the insulation & when you do peel it off it will zip off like a zipper & it comes off quite easily. You usually need a knife to get the end started peeling, unless you set the blade too deep because you enjoy being a pin cushion, & then you can just start peeling using your fingers. Sometimes it will roll the wire around the side of the blade, & you're either trying to cut too deep, or you need to take better care of how you insert the wire. It's rare but it happens sometimes. Overall I am very impressed with this wire stripper. I've stripped some larger wire like 2 aught wire & still impressed at how it handles braided solid #10 & #12, as you will find in those larger wire sizes. I have not messed with 3,4,500 MCM wire sizes so I have no way to know how that works, but if it fits, I'd say it'll probably work just fine. Would definitely buy again.

Amazing Time saver
I must say first off the people that are giving this product bad reviews I don't think are properly trying trial and error. As I do not use the guides because they kind of get it in the way I just use my eyes and hold the copper as it's feeding in and have absolutely no problem with it cutting as long as I keep it in the middle there is no product that for this price that's just going to feed perfectly but if you go slow and watch what you're doing this is absolutely amazing product wish it would have had a 20 years ago saves a pile of money as when you burn copper you burn weight or did big and I did small wire absolutely amazing just a little common sense and pay a little bit attention and it works wonders.

Not as advertised
The machine arrived super fast and was well packed in a mini crate. Excellent.HOWEVER, the first wire I tried to strip was a small piece of 0.5" aluminum wire. It was too big for the largest hole! The advertising clearly states up to 0.79" can be stripped. The largest hole on the machine actually measures .46". To make things worse, I spread the cutter as wide as possible and ran a 0.25" wire. The blade sliced into the copper, making tiny razor-sharp pieces of the wound wire. In other words, this machine can't strip anything over about 5mm (plus the plastic coating). That's not even 1/3 of the advertised size. And any 12-3 or larger Romex is also too big for the slot. The pros: Once dialed in, it was stripping like a champ for some 2 mm solid wire. It won't straighten big kinks in solid wire but it does pull with some good power. Really upset about the false advertising and lack of customer support so I'll be buying my next one from someone else. Also, no manual or tools were sent. Even so, I'll be keeping this one for the small stuff.
