Womens SZ 8 = Kids SZ 6
First off let me say that I LOVE chacos and have worn them for years!I bought the kids rainbow chacos off amazon 2 years ago and am writing the review now that I have had them long enough to tell the differences (barley any) between my kids size 6 and my womens 8 wide chacos. Let me start by saying I have really WIDE feet. I was very worried that the kids ones would not be wide enough for my foot but the ended up being about the same (a little narrower) as my womens 8 Wide chacos that I bought 5 years ago.Pros:-way cheaper than women's chacos!!!-Loop on the heel makes putting them on easier (and there's reflectors in the loop for walking in the dark)-so comfortable!Cons: non really-the only thing I would say is that my kids size 6 chacos do fit a little bit different in my arch than my womens 8 chacos! They hit a totally different part which is not a bad thing at all! Actually, when hiking I like to switch back and for the between the two and it helps prevent blisters/sore arches!

My boy loves these!
I might be the only person on here that actually bought these for my kid and not for a woman with small feet. I own a few pair of chacos myself and love them. My kids basically live in their sandals during the summer and I was tired of low quality sandals that either fell apart or the velcro didn't adhere to each other. These are easy to adjust, are comfortable and my 5 year old can put them on by himself. Highly recommend these despite the high price.

Why does sizing have to be so hard???
I'm writing an early review and will update later on comfort/durability. My family is going on a little trip to Branson so I've been hunting for just the right shoes that would be not only comfortable for walking around all day, but also to get wet in. I ordered myself and my 7 year old daughter a pair of chacos and my 3 boys got Tevas. I struggled with choosing a size when ordering. Some reviews say to order down a size, some say true to size and others swear by ordering up. I wear a women's 8 so I bought my chacos in an 8 and they are a perfect fit! That being said, my daughter wears a children's size 2 so that's what I ordered. Yeah......no. They were way to big on her. There was no way to even adjust them tight enough to make them work. I returned them and reordered a size 1. They will be here Friday and I'm praying for a better fit because I wanted us all to have time to break them in well before we left to make sure they didn't leave blisters. I will say, the quality was excellent. They were the same as mine as far as quality and adjustability. The Tevas I ordered for my boys won't be here until Saturday so my fingers are crossed for them. They have similar mixed reviews on sizing. Why does it have to be so hard??

Comfortable casual sandal - many nice color choices
Since I have smallish feet, I have found that I can wear the Chaco children's sandals for casual wear (they less arch support and a softer sole than the adult versions - so not suitable for long walks, hikes or wearing on uneven pavement/cobblestones). If you wear a women's 7 most wear a children's 5 but I prefer the 4. Sometimes you can find them at a bargain price. I've found that wearing these for running errands or on my way to and from the gym or dance class has been convenient for driving and the quick changes into my exercise or dance shoes. I wasn't sure I'd like the pink color ("Faded Pink"), but it is actually fairly subdued - not overpoweringly bright, and more versatile than I expected. I had also tried the Zigzag Greenery, but found the fit to be looser in the heel (strap goes beyond the end of the sole's heel); the color nice, but difficult to match with clothes. I kept the Faded Pink (better fit and more versatile), but had to return the ZigzagGreenery due to the poor heel fit.Tip - I've also found that ultralight merino wool socks like the Smartwool or Icebreaker can be comfy with these if the weather is a little cooler.

Perfect sandal for women, too!
Love these! In the summer I live in my Chaco flip flops, women's size 8. I at one point had a pair of the Chaco sandals with the toe strap, but never wore them because they bothered me (toe strap and generally couldn't get the straps adjusted right) and were really heavy -- much heavier than the flip flops. However, sometimes you want a sandal instead of a flip and I thought I might give it another try with Chacos without the toe strap. I somehow wandered into these and discovered that Women's Size 8 = Big Kid Size 6 in this brand. How cool is that! It's about 50% off cool, is what it is. I was worried about the fit because I have a high arch, but they hit me exactly right in the arch and feel amazing -- I didn't want to take these babies off. I got the color called "faded pink" and it's more purple than pink and doesn't look like only something a 4-year-old would love, it looks totally reasonable for an adult. These are not nearly as heavy as my other other Chaco sandals were, much closer to the flips (but more secure, of course. The straps are secure and comfortable -- your feet are not going to slide forward out of these, which was a concern of mine.Just FYI, I wear a women's 7 1/2 usually, sometimes an 8, in other shoes. My feet measure 24.5 cm. 95% of the time I fit a Euro 38.

Great quality; run big. Not for every foot but awesome when they work!
My 11 year old daughter loves these! They do run big - she’s wearing 4 in tennis shoes but had to exchange for a size 3 in these, so you might want to size down. The length on the 4 wasn’t extremely long, but the placement of the hard arch support was not right for her foot. I was a little frustrated to have to size down to a length that exactly fits her foot right now, knowing she wouldn’t be able to grow into them, but had no choice due to the arch placement. It took some adjusting to get the straps right, but with some trial and error around the house, she got them to where they were comfy. She says she couldn’t wear them for long walks or hikes and be comfortable, but for a regular day’s activities or summer camp they’re great. And some of her friends are very happy to wear them hiking, so it might just be that some feet fit them better. My daughter’s feet are narrow and these are a little wide on her, but still work fine. One recommendation to Chaco, if they are listening: PLEASE MAKE KIDS SIZES IN PLAIN BLACK!! Thank you. Hahaha.

Justo lo que buscaba
Estuve buscando varias sandalias para caminar, creo que encontré las perfectas. No las he probado aún pero se ven muy cómodas. Me quedaron muy bien de lo largo y ancho y se ajustan perfectamente a mi pie.
