Q: What size would a human need.... Yes im planning on wearing it not going to lie

If one were to do this, measure the widest circumference around the head. That would be around the brow, ears and occipital bone of the skull, then add 1-2 inches. That would be the size to order. Myself for example would be 23 inches, and it fits. Hmmm, not too bad in the mirror, but this is for dogs, right?

Q: how do you put it together? The end does not fit through the other?

Hold the chain/collar with both hands. Let the chain fall down through and into the one large end link, then slip it over your dogs head. Caution: This collar is only to be worn on your dog during walks and training..... NOT to be worn 24 hrs a day. Accidental deaths have occurred with these collars.
