A few optical issues but solid lens none the less!
The versatility of this lens is invaluable. Such a great focal range (25.5-105mm full frame) at a constant f2.8 aperture is wonderful to have. Comparing this to Fujifilm’s own 16-55mm f2.8 you sacrifice a teeny tiny little bit on the wide end and gain a considerable amount of reach on the long end. The fact this lens has VC and there is no image stabilization on Fujifilm’s most comparable lens, I’d take the Tamron each and every time.Issues:In my experience; Capture One does not have a lens profile for this lens so upon importing my RAWs are completely uncorrected. Heavy vignetting and quite noticeable barrel & pin cushion distortion are present. However, using Lightroom it seems that the built in profile is applied automatically and looks very good with no need to correct for distortion/vignetting.Pros:Very sharp throughout the focal range.Lets in a good amount of light thanks to that constant f2.8 aperture.Convenient, all in one lens solution.Image stabilization.Weather resistant.Reasonable at $799.Personal preference here, but, attractive minimalist design.A lot of good things to say about this lens. Glad I have it pretty much permanently attached to my X-T3.

Absolutely awesome glass for the price
I use it on a Fujifilm X-T3 for video/photo on family portrait shoots and weddings. I also have the sigma prime f1.4 lenses but if i have enough light, this tamron stays on my camera for the versatility. I also have the sigma 18-50 f2.8 and love it for compactness but I prefer the added reach of the Tamron 17-70 in both ends. And for handheld video the image stabilization is a must.

Incredible Value With Only One Issue
For the money, this lens is an insane deal. The only reason I put it at 4 stars is because the weather sealing on it is not great. It's vulnerable at the most critical place (the lens mount area where the contacts reside). Do not take this lens out in the pouring rain or you will have a paper weight for a camera. But if you never plan on taking your camera out into the pouring rain, you have nothing to worry about. The image quality on this is so good for the money. Going on vacation in a week and only plan to take this one lens with me. It's the ultimate travel lens but I've used it on my professional portrait shoots and all it gets is compliments.

Beware: Lens profile firmware issue when using with X-T4.
I want to love this lens. It has features and image quality that are beyond its price point. It's sharp, the colors and contrast are very nice, and the autofocus works great. But there's a major issue when using it with an X-T4. The built-in lens profile adds a heavy ring-shaped vignette. If you're using Adobe software like Lightroom or Photoshop, this can't be turned off. If you're using Capture One, shooting in-camera JPEGs, or you're just using it for video, you'll probably be fine. It also seems to be an issue only with the X-T4, and not just my particular body. I contacted Tamron and they seem to think it's a Fuji or Adobe problem, but Fuji and Adobe don't develop the built-in lens profiles, and that seems the be the primary issue here.

GADA Lens for Fuji Mirrorless
I bought this lens to complement the also great Tamron 18-300mm zoom. With these two lenses, which are of high quality and reliability, you are ready to go anywhere and do just about anything. This lens was of particular interest for indoor shooting where the constant 2.8 aperture makes a huge difference over Fuji’s 18-55mm kit lens (great in its own right, but it is slow and short compared to the Tamron or some of its pricier Fuji relatives). The Tamron lens has built in stabilization, which is lacking in similar lenses in the Fuji line up. This is great for me since I prefer to travel with the XT30 because it is so compact but the camera body lacks IBIS. The Tamron isn’t particularly heavy but it is long compared to some of the Fuji options, which tend to be shorter but stockier. All to say, you won’t find this to be a discrete lens, which is just about the only complaint I can muster for it.

Returned that same week.
I ended up returning this lense. It probably works fine for others, but on my Xt5 the lense would glitch and show a black screen every time I rotated my camera to portrait mode. It happened on my XE3 as well, confirming it was a problem with the lense rather than the camera. (I even made sure this was not my camera thinking I was bringing the camera to my eye by mistake, it was definitely a problem with how the lense connected to the camera. I went with a 55-200mm lense instead.

The most versatile lens I own
F2.8 throughout all focal lengths is a blessing, making video with the stabilizer built into the lens is a plus. Only zoom lens I need for my Fujifilm.

Worth the Money
Love this Lens been using it all around from my Fujifilm XT4 and I'm getting the hang of the 2.8 Aperture loving this lens. The only reason i had to reorder or this product is the first lens i got when i went Vacation i notice the dust get inside easily in the front lens so i had to send it back and i reordered again but this time i put some UV filter to protect the front Lens.

Good quality lens
It’s an amazing lens for the fujifilm APSC lineup, although it’s a bit heavy and large, still enjoyable to use. I think the autofocus can be better, hope it can improve in the future firmware update. Overall good value

Good, but not great
It will be a great kit lens for people to try out different focal lengths, but the results are way too green.

Poor Build Quality
So… optically I like the lens a lot. Unfortunately I’ve had it for about 6 weeks and there is already play in the focus ring that is causing the whole lens to have issues. Essentially the focus ring is rocking backwards and forwards which is making the whole lens shift. It’s still useable but won’t be for long… what a waste of money.
