American Reset: Book Three of the Economic Collapse Chronicles, Volume 3

Very good, but..
The author has delusional grandiose expectations of the u.s military. They've already proven they'll follow any order they're given and their oath is just some words they have to say.Are there any patriots left in the military? If there are they must be hiding.

A good ending to the series
I like the way Mark Goodwin writes. I have mixed feelings about this series. It wasn't my favorite series he has written. I think I have read all of his series now.

Best Author
Great book series! The quotes set the stage, enhance the feel and emotional flow. I share the quotes on Fakebook and Twitter every chance I get ..so maybe those media formats might change for the better.

Great series! Well worth your time to read!
This reads true to reality! So many that would like to start a Civil War, think that when the constitutionalists win every one will willingly just jump on the constitutional band wagon! NOTHING could be further from truth! America is more divided now than during the first civil war! There are those of us who believe in God, Jesus, absolute truth, honesty and faithfulness. Then there is the rest of our perverse society! So, before you lobby for a Civil War, second revolution, or any other form of shooting war, understand that after the first shot is fired, there will never be a United States of America Again! But then to remain free, it might just have to happen!Mark Goodwin has put together Reality! I don't like how this turned out but there is freedom in the separate states! I would forever be at war with the Chinese and the Blue Beanies, so I would die before I allow an occupation of my country! Great Read, great characters. Sorry I've finished the series!

Great book!
Makes you see that this could absolutely happen with what is going on in America right now. And probably will.

A new world
As this trilogy ends and our little group of patriots settle to a new and changed country, one has to wonder if this is a foretaste of future events. And I am not sure how I feel about the author's idea of the fate of these United States dissolving into many separate factions. It is conceivable I suppose as many harbour a deep distrust of any type of federal government after what the current ones have brought us to. The last four years was a step back from the precipice but the future is once again uncertain. Altogether an interesting viewpoint and good character development by this author.

C'mon, man
Wanted to like these books, but ultimately disappointed. Plastic characters, bad editing (or no editing), wooden, unrealistic dialogue, and frequent interruptions in the story for moralizing, lectures, and the worst mistake, leaving us with no reason to care about any of it. Zipping between too many "lead" characters, we never really get invested in any of them.Seriously dude, get professional editing help. Mistakes like, "his conscious wouldn't let him" (or whatever the context) make everything, plot, characters, theme, get sidetracked while I pause to roll my eyes, and skip ahead to the next mildly interesting bit. Those got farther and farther apart, too. Just saying...So many opportunities with the concept overall and the individual situations, but every one gets resolved quickly and easily, and with a couple of rare exceptions, no pain or conflict among the characters. Where's the freaking tension and suspense?Example, with mIld spoiler: The main bad guy finds out these sinister "Masters" are really running things, and then they disappear from the story and are never heard from again. So, why should we care about that secret cabal and its supposed omnipotence? I mean, they never actually DO anything. Finally, I've worked for the federal government and with DHS people. There are undoubtedly some rotten people in the federal service (Hi Lois Lerner, talking to you!) but on the whole, they couldn't organize a decent bake sale, much less some grand, evil, diabolical plot, And then carry it off. I mean really, when was the last time the Feds actually did something big right? I'm gonna say Apollo, and before that, WWII and Hoover Dam. That's three things in a century. We have less to fear from that quarter than Mr. Goodwin would have us believe. Of course, the screw-ups will still probably get us all killed, but that's another story and definitely not this one.In 100,000 words, we actually meet exactly two bad guys, see or hear briefly from several more, and all the rest are faceless, amorphous shapes, usually killed remotely at a distance. Heck, one of the "good" guys treated his prisoners WAY worse than any of the bed guys ever did. Couldn't identify. Didn't care enough to try.Sorry, can't recommend the books. Get your dystopia fix elsewhere else.

Even worse, he wants athiest to help fight but does ...
The plot is very believeable and i understand how people of one particular religion seem to think they have the right to consider every other religion as the "black magic" as this author put it but he is forgetting some glaring facts. 1, he seems to think that it will just be christians who want to see this country returned to its former glory but he is wrong. All his talk about abortion is just rethoric and is literally wanting to force his religion on everyone yet conviently fears the muslims for the very same reason. A woman has the right to do with her body what SHE or HER MAN wants. If you are not in a relationship with a woman, you have no right to tell her what she can or can't do with her own body. period. so end the religious rethoric. 2nd off, just because an athiest doesn't believe in god doesn't mean he won't fight just as hard as a christian to defend his family.Even worse, he wants athiest to help fight but does the very same thing our founding fathers did, they wanted blacks to fight for them but as soon as the war was over, the blacks were back to being inferior. He seems to think that crhistians can do the same thing to athiests. I am willing to put all the religious retoric aside but i am hoping the author reads this and sees the glaring holes in his plot. Our founding fathers wanted freedom of religion for this very reason, Every religion thinks its self as the true religion.

detailed as if living through modern day American revolution
Specific things to do also real to life. Enjoyed greatly. Liked that there were actual resources described that I could buy. Like Patriots by Rawles but more local and political. Bit too many bible verses to take though as this may cause non Christian to feel preached at instead of too.
