Q: Can this be used to find leaks in swimming pool return lines (pvc pipes) under concrete?

Yes, it's possible. However, two conditions are required. 1. It should be possible to block the water from the piping. Most of line has a valve after the pump. (Please check which line has a leak after the pressure test.) 2. There should be an inlet for injecting the compressor. The sound of air and water leaking is louder than the sound of only water leaking. But you should make a choice whether you work with air-compressor after check this pipe can stand the pressure or not. If you can't make sure that, just start it from 1 bar then rise up to 5 bar.
