It looks great, it wasn't really hard to assemble, it just took me two nights to build. Some of the pieces are a little fragile, I ended up breaking about 3 pieces, easily remedied with some hot glue, though if I had properly sanded some of those pieces it wouldn't have been that hard to put in it's proper place. If you have a hard time putting the pieces together, I suggest you file, or sand the pieces slightly, just don't overdo it or they'll be too loose. This is my second time buying a wooden 3d puzzle, I actually look forward to buying more in the future as a hobby, as I had fun putting it together.

I had a blast putting this together. I had some feedback, though, for future products. First, the skinny, winding pieces break too easily. They were easy to snap back together and glue, though. I must have broken 3 or 4 pieces with trying to snap them out of the boards and then trying to snap them together. Next, two of the instruction steps are labeled incorrectly. For Step18, the big piece is A2, and the little pieces are actually A33. In Step 84, E13 should actually say D13. Then, once I put everything together, the machine often gets stuck at 3 places. The first spot is with the cogs and gears. I have to keep shifting it to get it unstuck. The second spot is with the rotating basket/bucket. It doesn't always empty out. And the last tough spot is at the bottom of the spiral. There isn't enough clearance for the ball to make an exit. I can shift it up, but it always seems to sink back low. Anyways, that's all. I loved putting it together. Had a ball & hope to purchase more in the future!

I actually loved this kit. I stained it mostly mahogany, but used a lighter color for the antlers and a mahogany for the leafy backdrop. I used actual silver and gold pant for the bevel around the timepiece. It looked so sweet when it was done that I didn't even care if the clock worked.It lasted about two hours. My six month old kitten decided that it was its arch nemesis. I saw kitty stalking it, but it was too late. Kitty leaped up the side of the desk, swatted it down, and attacked it in a somersault mid-air as it rode it's path to its certain destruction. I did repair it. Not very well, and I'm pretty good at that sort of thing. It's going to take more than another coat of stain to make it presentable.Poor kitty. I yelled at it in a fit of anger, but I slowly began to realize that what I had just witnessed was actually kind of cool. This is the second time I've had a newly assembled kit destroyed in a spectacular fashion, and I guess you could say that I got my money's worth.The other one was still presentable, though. It just didn't work anymore.

Loved the time and ease of working on and with tools provided. Everything needed was included.

I love this owl clock. It's much better than the other high dollar one I got and put together last year. The pieces come out of the boards easy and they fit together well too. They done a great job on it. I would definitely recommend it. I also added a little color to it.

This was definitely not what it was stated to be. Definitely a disappointment.

Several pieces have broken trying to assemble it. We have done over 40 of them and this seems to be the most breakable.
