LOVE this powder. Vinegar lovers unite... (-:
I love malt vinegar on many things, and the more sour the better. It's actually tough to find a bottled malt vinegar that is adequately sour but still allows the malt flavor to come through. ( Believe me I've tried and my pantry is littered with the bottles of "Not Sour Enough Malt Vinegars"....including all of the "genuine, world famous" brands. This powder fills the gap nicely; I use this on fish and fries/chips of course but it's also nice to perk up otherwise bland veggies and I also add it to salad dressings and other sauces that I would like to be pleasantly tart... It's easy to "control the sour" with a power. Good product, good price and for me this is now a pantry staple.

Excellent.
Great tasting vinegar powder. I use a coffee grinder to powder salt, then mix with this, 1:1. Makes a great salt and vinegar seasoning for chips and popcorn, or whatever takes your fancy.

Not as strong as I'd expected, but doesn't make food soggy like liquid vinegar does, so tradeoffs.
I'm a bit on the fence with this.I'm admittedly a bit obsessed with vinegar. Nothing makes my heart sing more than some really strong malt vinegar on my fries, but since I'm also equally obsessed with crispy fries, these two parts of me are always at odds. When this came across my product suggestions, I stopped dead in my tracks: COULD I REALLY HAVE BOTH? WHAT KIND OF NEW WORLD IS THIS AND WHEN DID WE GET HERE??? I wasted absolutely zero nanoseconds hitting "add to cart" and waited. And waited. And waited for it to arrive. (That was just in the first 30 seconds after hitting "place order"). I prepped myself for the impending delivery and had fries on-hand and my air fryer at the ready. (This was accomplished within 60 seconds of completing my transaction.) This was going to be a long wait, filled with anticipation. When this arrived two days later, I stopped everything to make my fries. Firstly, the pouch has no value outside of transporting the product, so I put it in a shake top container so that it can be sprinkled generously or measured out, so take that tip and run with it, folks - you'll probably want to do the same. Moving on, my fries were cooked perfectly and as close to perfection as you can get. Our vinegar powder, unfortunately, didn't leave me any kind of wowed. I thought maybe I needed to experiment a bit more, so the next time, I sprinkled the powder on my fries before cooking, and then again immediately after. That was better, but still, not nearly as strong as actual liquid malt vinegar. I thought I'd been really generous with my application, but... kinda meh. I came back to the product listing to see if I was missing anything important, and then followed that up with a visit to the manufacturer's web site. They have a recipe for mixing this with salt and pepper (maybe other things, too - I didn't memorize it, only took note) specifically for french fries. Since I already generously salt my fries, I don't think that's the missing component, though I will say that salt does help to enhance the flavor of this, so if you're disappointed but don't salt your fries, salt your fries! I'm going to try this again and treat it like I was given the powder for free (you know, sprinkle that powder on my fries like they're my last meal and whatnot), and see if it just takes a whole lot of powder to produce an equivalent flavor as the liquid. Maybe that's it? I'm hopefully optimistic. What I will say is that since this is a powder, your fries will not get soggy, and that's a beautiful thing, but I want mouth puckering, vinegary goodness like what you get in Canada but without the sog, and this hasn't gotten me there...yet.I'll update my review if I find the trick because you're only reading this if you're part of my tribe, and if I unearth the secret to magic fries, I'll gladly share it with my people!!!

Seasoning for Salt and Vunegar Potato chips
I bought this seasoning after finding a recipe for homemade potato chips. I mixed equal parts, kosher salt and malt vinegar powder, I sprinkled it over hot fried potato chips. No more store bought bagged potato chips for me.

Best Powdered Malt Vinegar Product
I love this powdered malt vinegar. I had previously purchased Malt Vinegar Salt from another vendor, but it was too salty. Not this stuff, it's just perfect. I am on my second large jar of lightly salted cashews which I generously season with this malt vinegar powder and I can't get enough of them (they're addicting). I almost wish they weren't so darned good. The Vinegar Salt I used before made them way too salty. I also use malt vinegar powder on french fries and steamed potatoes. It's very versatile (especially if you love vinegar as much as I do). If you love vinegar, I'm sure you will find a lot of uses for this product. Enjoy!

Great
I got this to try and see how it would work bc my husband lives vinegar. I was so surprised how good this was in fries so was my whole family. It was better than I thought it would be and I will be buying more

Not a lot of flavor
I loved the idea of not making fish and chips soggy, but it really doesn’t have a lot of flavor. Also, because it’s a powder, it’s easy to inhale while you’re eating whatever you sprinkled it on.
