excellent product. keeps the "thicker" cable of a 13a vevo car charger in place (see pic). waterproof on the top so it can be used outside for waterproof wiring. also dropped the electric garage door to sit on top of this (but not hard) so that car charger's wire is not squashed - perfect !

This is a very robust cable protector. I bought it to protect my charging cable and stop people tripping over it in my drive.It came rolled in a tight roll and took about a week to finally straighten out and lie fully flat. That risked causing a trip hazard in itself (!) but it is completely flat now.I found it a bit tricky to slot my charging cable into the conduit underneath as it is covered with quite a solid flap for complete protection, but once in it is unlikely to come out by accident.You probably wouldn't want to keep putting the cable in and out. I just leave the whole thing assembled and move it into my garage when not run out to the car.It is certainly strong enough to stop pedestrians tripping over it, and you could probably drive the car over it without damage but I haven't tried.

This was bought to cover the charging cable for a PHEV car. The cable has to run from the charger point to the car across garden path to garage, a trip hazard for us and the postman (etc). This is ideal, easy to clip on, very visible with the yellow stripe. It happily takes my mobility scooter running over it, and stops any chance of the cable getting caught up. It seems solid, with substantial weight and sturdy feeling rubber. I’d happily recommend this.

I used it to protect a thin plastic conduit. 14mm JUST fits. As expected, it won’t fully protect against vehicle weight but is heavy enough to prevent the conduit blowing about and obvious enough to prevent a trip hazard.
