Q: i have never used dry ice before this came with no directions. any ideas on how to use this stuff please?

I ended up googling it. I don’t remember this brand name (they worked well by the way). But here is one I found on the web with instructions similar to what I used. Amazon won’t let me post the link. Google dry ice packs usage tips. I just don’t remember the amount of soaking time, but 15 minutes sounds right. I also remember the instructions to weigh them down in the water so they stay submerged. When I was done, I put each sheet I soaked in it’s own ziplock bag (I was worried they would stick to each other when frozen) and then froze them for around 3 days before shipping them out.

Q: Since these reusable, can these be stored in shelf when not needed?

I store mine in a garage and use when I need them.

Q: How do you add the water and seal the cells? Each 13 x 14" sheet is equivalent to how much ice (in pounds)? What is the water capacity of each sheet?

Just soak in water. I’m going to guess and say the frozen sheet weighs about 1 pound or less.

Q: How long do the ice packs stay cold?

I used several, above, below and sides and my food stayed frozen at least 12 hours during my air & ferry travel.
