The vest looks great and fit as expected. The material is also very nice. It's lightweight with a light mesh lining which is great for hot temps. The only downside is if you have more curve in the hip area. This is a mens fit vest so it's straight throught the torso (as expected). It doesn't give space/curve out a bit to accomodate hips (I'm a woman that would benefit from that, but I really like the look of the vest so I tried it out). Overall very happy with it.

This vest is suitable for the summer, even in 90 plus degree weather. It's a light vest, not heavy at all. When you wear it, you barely feel that you have it on.

I’ll be traveling from a spring climate to a tropical area. I was looking for a “travel” vest that would keep me comfortable between the two very extreme temperatures (50 to 90+ Fahrenheit) and while in transit (planes and airports). I did NOT, however, want a “travel” vest that had baggy exterior pockets.This vest has three zipper pockets (two side and one chest), The chest zipper pocket is deep so it can hold a very LARGE smartphone. I would have liked at least two interior pockets.I thought that this vest had a fully interior MESH liner so I was disappointed to find only the front of vest had a MESH liner.This vest is a little thicker and heavier than I expected, but still acceptable for my traveling needs.I bought the BLACK vest. All the zippers and zipper pulls are BLACK so they blend with the vest and not noticeable. In warmer temperature, I like to wear the BLACK vest over a BLACK t-shirt.I am 5’6” tall, 165 lbs. with a stocky built. For my body, the vest has a tapered or athletic fit, i.e., not loose or baggy. It is, however, a bit longer in body length than I expected, but this is not a dealbreaker.This vest is a step down in warmth from a fleece vest. The exterior shell provides some rain protection. Overall, this is a good spring, autumn, early summer morning vest.

But why don’t they make XL in black?

Fits perfect! Exactly as described! I got a XXL and reading some of the reviews…I was worried that it wouldn’t be true to size. No issues here! I’m a big guy and it fits great.

They were out of blue and black, and already had a grey. The vest is comfortable for all around use, I'm just disappointed in the color.

Like it n will use it for the coming trip overseas
