This is a great item to have for retired people. It helps us to see what day it is as well as what time it is! This one is a little larger so it is easier to see. Great idea!

Really helped my mom keep her bearings. People in hospital and nursing home settings get so confused because their days and hours melt into one another. This keeps them oriented. Mom no longer calls people at 2am thinking it is 2pm. We keep hers next to her bed so she can see it. Gives day, date, time, and whether it is morning, afternoon, evening, or night. All long-term patients should have one.

Display quit working after 7 months and the screen was always not very bright.

I mounted this in my den, so you can see the text from anywhere. It does require connection to plug in the power, but had an electronic outlet available on the other side of the wall.

We like this purchase and my Mother likes it as well.

UPDATE: how to get warranty? This thing is less than 2 months old. Surely there's a warranty? Otherwise, I like it.Heck, we could all use a clock like this one. But I got it for mom, who was having "sundowners" after being released from the hospital. She would call me all hours of the night wanting me to take her somewhere. I bought her this and it helped tremendously.
