Brings the Subject Up Close
Love this for distance viewing. I use my 8x42 for birding in the forest. I use this for prairie birding or shore birding. Brings the subject right in front of you. Really crisp and brilliant!

What a view!
Bought these bins for my nephew on my trip down to fl. I am a bird photographer and he wanted to join me on an outing. Once he opened the box and experienced the renoun Nikon optics he was hooked. Light, very clear, especially in low light. The 8x42 rear was perfect for viewing birds and animals at quite a distance. I recommend for all users.

Stellar in every way but size
These are incredibly clear and bright. Focusing knobs is perfect size, resistance, etc. Only complaint is how uneccacarily bulky they are.
