Xvive MD1 Wireless Bluetooth MIDI Adapter MIDI Interface with 5-Pin DIN for All Brands MIDI Device and Platform(PC/Mac/iOS/Android)

I saw someone mention this in reference to the MPC One, so I thought I'd give it a shot. I am PC (Win10) and Android based. I have a Korg MicroKey Air and I bought two of these. In addition I bought a Yamaha USB port similar device (UD-BT01). I was able to update the firmware on the XVive using the Widi App and saying it was a Widi Master when it reported it wasn't. I have bluetooth on the PC with Ableton and several standalone capable plugins. I have the latest Korg Microkey BT driver. I also have MidiBerry (Free) and LoopMIDI (Free) on the PC. Once I updated the FW on these, they were able to use the Korg driver, no MidiBerry necessary, but it does also work. I have been able to route MIDI from my Arturia MiniLab USB (using Yamaha adapter with MidiBerry and LoopMIDI) into Ableton, and then route it back out to the MPC One using this device. There's very little latency. I can use practically any combination of these BT devices to communicate between devices. I'm so surprised. Sometimes I need to disable the BT on the PC, so they don't bridge to that when I intend to connect to the MPC. I even have an old Jamstik+ and have been able to use that via BT with the MPC One using this device. Very interesting and fun. Highly recommend!

Per quanto riguarda la qualità del suono è rimasto uguale come se avesse collegato i cavi midi.Sono molto soddisfatto perché non devo più portare a seguito i soliti cavi DIN a 5 pin.-

I bought this product to connect a synthesizer to my main music production studio rig. Without a wireless adapter I would have had to use a long (25ft +) midi cable wrapped around the room. For that kind of midi to midi setup you do need to purchase two of these MD1 units and pair them together. If you want to use one by itself it only works with bluetooth/IOS devices. I've never tried connecting a midi device with bluetooth, but I imagine this would be a quick and easy way to turn a midi keyboard into a wireless controller. I've only been using the MD1 for about a month but so far I haven't had any connection issues or drop outs. The synth/midi interface is only about 6 feet apart so I'm not really maxing out the range or anything, but at this distance everything works as expected. My only complaint is that the packaging was tiny and minimal and the included instruction leaflet was a bit confusing and could make setup difficult for someone less experienced with audio/MIDI etc.

Il prodotto è facilissimo da usare, non è ingombrante, non richiede pile e si connette con facilità agli strumenti (provato con un ipad e due tastiere diverse). Semplicemente ottimo.
