For the price, these laces are probably the best deal for the colors that you're going to get on here. While I've only tested these laces on dressing shoes, specifically oxfords and brogue oxfords with around 5-6 eyelets, I'm certain my experience can be taken with other styles of shoes. Set Of Five Mixed Color Waxed Cotton 30" Dress Shoelaces At first I was devastated because I thought these were going to be very very short for my 6 eyelet Allen Edmond oxfords. I laced them up using straight European Lacing and found that they just fit absolutely perfectly. Granted, with European lacing you have to adjust the laces afterwards to get them to even lengths, nevertheless though, these had a perfect fit.What I need to mention is the waxing on these. While at first the wax is prevalent and you can really feel it on the texture of the lace, after wearing them and running them through the eyelets, it dissipates a little. So while these are great for color, the waxing will come off over time.Lastly, the coloring of these were off by great shades and tints. The hunter green was a rather neon green. The purple was a light purple, very light tinted. The others were spot on in the colors.Overall though, I wouldn't let my 3 star rating discourage you from getting these. Although they were a bit discolored, and the waxing came off a bit, these are perfectly lengthened for many eyelet type of shoes, and the colors will offer great fashionable versatility in your wardrobe if you're into that like me. decent laces, for an even greater price in my opinion.

The shoe laces are nice. The colors are quite accurate as displayed in the picture, too.I think the only issue with the laces is that they are extremely THIN. They are not the regular, thick laces that you would expect them to be. Personally, I like thick shoe laces, so I am a bit disappointed on that regard. Other than that, pretty nice.

The product worked like expected, but I was disappointed with the overall look of them. I've been able to use the red and blue shoelaces and was thrilled with them; however, the other colors are rather muted and difficult to find worthy shoes. This might just be a lack of shoes on my part or me being particular, but worth noting the colors aren't very vibrant overall and don't all stand out.

I really do like these laces. First off the colors are pretty accurate to what the image represents. I also like that they worked in my dress shoes with 5 eyelets and 4 eyelets. On both shoes there is not a lot of extra lace once tied, so no need to worry about looking goofy although you're looking at colored laces so pat yourself on the back because you don't give a .... what other people think. Only think I disliked is that you truly need to tie them tight, they will loosen throughout the day, but one re-tie is hardly something to fuss over. These would be perfect for anyone looking to freshen up their dress shoes without buying dress shoes. I'd buy again.

Careful. I ordered this item and it only came with 4 sets instead of the advertised 5. It was missing the navy blue set of laces, which is disappointing considering that was the reason why I originally ordered this product.

I saw these laces was surprised at the low cost so I decided to try them out. They are great quality, nice price, and I really like the colors. The maroon/red colored ones are very nice with a black dress shoe as they are understated but still can be seen. I'm into little details these days and colored laces are a nice way to pull together an outfit. Plus you can take an older pair of oxfords or dress shoes and make them more contemporary with these laces. You might see these laces on other sites but you'll pay 3 times as much for the same quality when the only difference is the name on the label. Give these a try, you'll like them.

I bought these to add a little color to a pair of black dress shoes. They fit perfectly and have been easy to switch out. I have also used them with another pair of brown shoes which usually use a 32"-34" lace. They fit, but are a little more difficult to tie. In the future I will be looking for some additional colors to purchase as well.
