I rarely ever leave product reviews. But it's a MUST that I give Layla her flowers now. Because she definitely deserves them!!. This book is jam packed with ALL of the information and knowledge that I've been seeking with my hoodoo practice. Everything is easy to understand and it's straight to the point. I have several other spiritual books but this one is definitely my ABSOLUTE fave. I love how everything is broken down into its own category. Learning about all the amazing herbs with amazing spiritual properties that i'd never heard of was exciting.And it grasped and kept my attention. I absolutely LOOOOOVE this book. It's truly a beautiful blessing. This book is just as important to me as "the book of Psalms" And that speaks volumes.

This book is very informative. It was a page turner from start to finish. It kept me intrigued. I learned a lot by reading this book. It was very well written as always. LAYLA does not disappoint. Latla's book to present me with the information I could really understand. Her background knowledge of the craft is astounding.. Layla soundly clarifies that Hoodoo is not a religion as is Voodoo.She gives all the fundamental knowledge on Hoodoo's background, setting up your altar, Rootwork, basic herbs and oils and their usage.The author farther explains working with candles, colors and purpose of each.For to be a not so large book, it is packed with a lot of information that I found very informative and I would highly recommend this gem of a book to others.Layla, thank you for your indepth knowledge.

This is the second book I've ready from this author and it does not disappoint! I've never heard of hoodoo before and I recognize this should not be confused with voodoo. I love that the author goes into the cultural significance and history of the practice along with the methods and tools to practice on your own. As someone who was always fascinated the Salem witch trials and the like, this is a whole new world. I also feel it's important to note that in the words of Uncle Ben, "with great power, comes great responsibility" should be heeded when venturing into this practice. Another book, well done!

I really loved Layla's take on some rituals. The educational information she sprinkles in is a delight. Offers the reader to align with what they're getting into. As well as, giving a beginner some insight to rituals and harm that can be done along with positive outcomes. Beautiful read.

This informative Hoodoo guide is a great companion to the spiritual community. Do not let the term "witch" dissuade you. These common sense, spiritual practices can help you get your development to the next level. Learn everything about Hoodoo from an inspired author who understands. Five Stars.

This is nice for beginners just starting in a journey to look into hoodoo and may need some direction to go in and some start spells or working with candles.
