Nice and simple little all-in-one Hidden Cam
I'm revising my last review to state that this camera is everything its description claims it to be. I wasn't able to connect the camera via the "hotspot / wifi" option, but using the QR code method worked like a charm, so that's what I recommend to others. The video quality is excellent and the sound quality better than expected. The instructions are also very clear and easy to follow. Just do what it says and don't try to take any shortcuts. The app you install on your mobile device is super easy to set up and use with the camera. I was actually surprised by its many features as well - like a "Four view" option where you can monitor four cameras at a time.My only real complaint is that the camera doesn't seem to stay shut off when charging. When it's off, it turns on as soon as you plug it in. Then if you turn it off while it's plugged in, it turns on immediately after. So I don't really like that aspect of it.In closing, it's a great camera even with the one complaint I have, and you certainly cannot beat it for the price.

DO NOT BUY THIS TRASH, CAMERA IS NOT 4K AND WILL NOT LAST 8 HOURS.
I was hoping that this camera would be decent at the very least, but this is just wrong! The video quality is so trash, it could be one of the worst cameras I've ever tried! The description states that the camera is 4k and will last 8 hours, but now only is the camera is not 4k and won't last even 3 hours from a 100% charge, but the frame rate is 15FPS and the video quality is 720p. Overall the video is super choppy and is not worth buying if you want decent quality. The only decent thing about it is that you can view the video feed on your phone, but nowadays any wifi camera can do that.

Pretty Good little Camera with good battery life and video (perfect for rideshare uber etc)
So far so good, worked right out of the box. I've simply connected a micro SD card to it (128 U3**) MAKE SURE YOU'RE USING A U3 CARD ABOVE 64MB***I haven't fiddled much with the wifi connection as of yet, however my main purpose is using it remotely with just using the SD card. For anyone doing Uber or any other rideshare service, it's important to mount a side camera in the back of your car facing the seats in the back. The way I mounted it is front the back of them looking down (inconspicuous) which records everything their doing that I can't see while driving. I have another 4 cameras (dash cam with reverse and front view, vehicles camera and planning on adding an additional one facing the back seats from the front. can't be to careful. Great buy for this reason. Will upload photos soon so you all can have some ideas. Note: I've used a long wyze cam micro usb cable to reach the back while tucking away the power cable so it's out of site.

Good quality but some drawbacks
I returned this camera after checking it out. My 3-star rating is based on the following aspects of this product:-Quality: The physical quality of this product and its accessories is very high. It is very well packaged, and the supplied accessories (cables, mounts) are of very good quality. The camera itself seems well made and sturdy. The memory card went in and out without problems, and the two operational buttons on the back worked well also. The LEDs were bright and quite visible.- Memory card resolution: I ordered a SanDisk 32 GB card to go with this camera, as my application for it required local recording. The camera is set up by default to record in 10 minute files, but that's not a big deal, as there is no lag between the files, and they can be spliced together if needed. The IR/night vision option and motion detection are enabled by default, so no need for me to connect to the phone software to configure the camera. However...while this website makes a huge deal of this being a 4K camera, the manual explains that when recording to the memory card you are limited to 720p "to save space." That alone was a reason to return the camera, IMHO.- IR/Night vision quality; The quality is quite good -- as long as you are looking at a static scene, or a scene with relatively slow motion happening in it. I found that a human face about 4 feet from the camera is heavily blurred if it is moving at even a moderate rate, such as shaking your head no. From a security standpoint, I don't think you could rely on it for positive identification. It's usable to get the gist of what's going on, but definitely not high quality (or even medium quality).-Audio: The camera does record audio, but it ranges from mediocre to poor. If the subjects are speaking loudly and clearly, it's great. If people are speaking softly or mumbling, not so good.- Interconnection: although this camera is supplied with a USB cable, it seems that its only purpose if for charging the internal battery (the battery seemed to work well). I could not get the camera to show up as a USB device on my computer. So it appears the only way you can get video from this camera is by removing the memory card, or by wi-fi.- Software: This was one of the main reasons I decided to return this camera. While the Amazon page gives extensive descriptions of the hardware, not much is said about the software, the associated app HIDVCAM (downloadable from Google Play). I highly recommend you go to the Google Play store and look at the reviews for this app before you make a buying decision. The app has about 1,000 reviews and is currently rated at 2.7/5 (this is not great). There are literally hundreds of 1 star reviews. Although there are some 4 and 5 star reviews, they are outnumbered by the 1,2, and 3-stars. Given this fact, and the other shortcomings for my application of the camera, I decided not to download this software.- Documentation: The manual is obviously written by a non-English speaker, although it is mostly understandable. There are a few points where an explanation is not clear. The absence of information on a lot of the camera functions is a problem, but you can kind of blunder around and figure most of it out. Looking at all the slick advertising material on the Amazon page, it's a shame the manufacturer didn't opt to spend some money on real documentation as well.In summary, it's a well-built and generally well-performing camera, but the manufacturer has hidden some of its shortcomings, and has missed the boat by not implementing some features that would increase the desirability of the camera. Improved documentation would be a big plus as well. Based on how you want to use the camera, it might be a great choice for you -- or not. If you're one of the lucky 5-star software users, and aren't adverse to some technically challenging setup, it might work out just fine.My use of the camera was to record to the memory card in a remote location, in low light conditions, so I didn't really need all the wi-fi bells and whistles. But, given its limited memory card resolution, and its less than stellar IR/night vision performance, it didn't work out for me.

Good
It's a good camera. I did drop it and it came apart. The white power strip broke so trying to find that part on the website is difficult haven't been able to find parts at all on the website. My fault it broke but can make it a little easier to get a part.

Terrible quality video
Not much else matters if the video quality is terrible. It's not 4k, not even close.

Much higher quality that what I used before. Records sound and video.
The media could not be loaded. 6 hours of recording was about 1gb This was how long the unit ran on its first single charge. You can keep it plugged in to run as long as you want. Each file was 10min long about 25mb each in .mkv format1280 x 720 64kbps at 15 frames/secondI used a highspeed class 3 sd card and tested with a lower class 1 there was no loss of quality or capture speed.Originally I used it without the app hvidcam. Then I discovered how many other features this has!Cloud storage, Sensitivity levels, alarm notification. You can use this for a security camera of sorts.I originally planned for this camera at a construction site and an outdoor gate to see some odd occurrences. Had I used a large camera it would have been noticeable and when I showed back the video they would know the location. Since this unit is small and mobile I was able to move it around to different locations and see people looking and not finding it.
