I heard that because of the strong odor of the Four Leaf Rover Hip & Joint Powder, that some dogs may not like it. I let try some sardines to see how he would do, which my dog loved. So I knew we would have no problem. He loves it mixed in with his wet food and I also warm it up a little to get the juices flowing. Not having any problems! Can't wait to see result!

Well packaged but did not agree with my dog's stomach.

I have been using this product for almost a year for my Siberian Huskies as well as many of Four Leaf other products (Gut Guard, Protect, Red Rover, Safe Sea. Yeast guard used only for 2 weeks). Over the last year I observed a steady, systematically, and strategically implemented change in each product I have/use without any notice, explanation, announcement, or meaningful answers/explanations when asked. I will say for this product...it is the last of the 6 to be changed--just now.CONSTANTLY CHANGING—Labeling, Ingredients, consistency/color/texture, recommended amount to give pet weight class--amounts in jar/bottle, amount directed to use for weight class, listed amount of ingredients and/or deletion of ingredients from one jar of same product to another---- and on and on. Overall--- each change resulted in a more diluted version of the past!Green Eggs- label directions for amount to give to same weight dog (see pics for this product which was just changed now-- my jar has the exact same amount of ingredients and total amount in jar (2.4) oz but amount to give increased from 3/4 tsp to 1 tsp for 26-50lb, per the above product description- so you will buy more???)BEWARE—Four Leaf Rover Product’s labels DO NOT state 3rd party tested for purity, DO NOT state a GUARENTEED ANALYSIS of INGREDIENTS but simply lists Active Ingredients and Inactive Ingredients! You can literally receive little to nothing listed on a product’s label.---PRODUCTS are NOT 3rd PARTY TESTED for PURITY and/or PRODUCT INGREDIENTS---This is a direct quote from the company’s response, “Product COAs do not include a full ingredient panel, that is not their purpose." If not the purpose to CERTIFY THE INGREDIENTS by a 3rd party, then what, especially when they state in their descriptions that each product “comes with an ingredient analysis report.” They used to state to request a “Certificate of Analysis (COA).”---PRODUCTS DO NOT INCLUDE ANY SEALS--- Certified Organic, sustainably sourced, GMP certified facility packaging, NASC, 3rd Party tested, USDA, etc. etc.MOST IMPORTANTLY, I have questioned, called, emailed, ad nauseum, for a year!!! You cannot speak with anyone but the trained representatives who answer the phone (who state themselves they cannot speak directly to anyone but a sole manager). I have emailed for 9 months with this manager requesting my concerns be answered by someone with authority and with transparency--- even sent photos of clumps, weird substances, changes in product ingredient amounts and amounts recommended for use-- GLARING DISCREPENCIES FROM ADVERTISING TO ACTUAL PRODUCT JAR AND FROM ONE TO ANOTHER. All these were dismissed and passed off as normal inconsistencies from batch to batch!!!BOTTOM LINE--- ALL these pet supplement companies use verbiage to obtain your trust, so without any verifiable PROOF of ingredients---how will you know what you are feeding your pet?Well, I ask any of you pet parents who obviously have come to this product after much research and concern and love of your canine child—If you purchase a product and like it, but the next time you purchase the same product it has changed in color and/or consistency, amount in jar, amount directed to give your pet, etc. and no explanation, notification has been provided---- how can you trust what you order will even be what you received before?

This stuff has made our 9 year old lab feel like a puppy again. He can run and explore the farm again with no painful joints.

I've been giving this to my 14 yr old dog now for about 3 weeks. I'm starting to notice a difference. He doesn't seem as stiff and moves around more now. I haven't noticed a difference in his skin or coat yet, but the joint flexibility is definitely working. I have to say it does stink, like a fishy odor, but he doesn't seem to mind it one bit. I've been mixing it in with his wet food and I don't think he even noticed it. Thank you for a quality product!

My 10 yr. old Golden Retriever was getting slow at agility, but after a month on the Joint supplement she is back to her youthfulness. Her enthusiasm for the game and interest in playing has returned. I highly recommend this product.

Bought this for my 15 year old Carolina Dog to helpbhis joints as he ages. It may work great but idk because he refuses to eat food with this mixed in. Usually he's my trash can, will eat anything Dog, but he hates the smell/taste and won't have it. It does have a very strong smell, compared to other similar supplements. Even when mixed in something else strong smelling like raw green tripe.Maybe order a small size first to see if your dog will eat it.

Best joint supplement I've ever uses. My 8 year old Shepherd Collie mix recently started showing signs of hip and back leg weakness. Unable to jump on the bed and his back legs starting to slip on the floors. He also wasn't able to poop in one place, kind of like walking a few steps because he couldn't hold himself in one place. After using this product for less than 2 weeks he is showing amazing signs of improvement! "Shollie" will be on this product for the rest of his life. Highly recommend Rover joint!
