Smooth and held up in rain

This is a good thumb throttle if you are looking for one. Easy to mount. Can be mounted on left or right side without removing grips, shifters or brake levers. Make sure the connector is compatable with your 1 to 4 wire harness or if you are going to cut and splice it doesn't matter.

They took a male throttle, cut part of the cord, then spliced in a female adapter, and put electric tape over the spliced part. This gives you an Error message when you try to replace your throttle on your E Bike

I installed this on a BBSHD with a new Luna controller after the factory throttle got rain inside it and shorted out the original controller.This throttle does not have a smooth response, the first ~1/4in of movement results is no response then all of a sudden it kicks in with about 50% power. Iv been using this for about two months and I have gotten use to this but it’s not ideal. I will have to order a programming cable to try and change the parameters in the controller to try and get a smooth response.The best part about this throttle is the way it mounts very convenient and easy. It also seems well made compared to the original throttle.

I prefer the throttle lever feel on this over the stock Bafang one. You don't have to remove your grips to install it. Works out of the box with Bafang BBSHD.

This throttle arrived quickly and is much better than the original!

I put this on my e-bike build and I like the smoothness.I like that I can add or move it without removing everything on the bar.This fit my standard 22mm bar.Low cost upgrade.
