Made shifting so much smoother. You can feel the motor pause while shifting gears and less tension on the chain. Recommend highly if you install the mid drive motor. Took ten minutes to install.

HERE'S WHY YOU DON'T NEED ITYou can do 1 of 2 things that will will provide a softer shift than the shift sensor provides:#1 Just stop pedaling and shift - counter to what you know about shifting a derailleur. Here's why that works. When you stop pedaling the motor cuts out, but the chain ring continues to coast for a few revs.#2 Use the left brake lever like a clutch. Continue to pedal, pull the left brake lever in just far enough to make the brake sensor but not far enough to actually apply the brake. This cuts out the motor and then you shift as per normal.I went ahead and installed a shift sensor anyway. I wanted to see how it works. And plus my wife is never going to do #1 or #2 above.If you decide you want to install the shift sensor, there's a trick to getting the cable threaded through it. I've done it 4 times now. The trick is this: there is no trick. Just poke the cable around until it goes through. It will take awhile. I watched a You Tube video were the guy says to force it through. DON'T FORCE IT. Just poke around. When the cable finally threads through the shift sensor, it takes no force. But the 1st time you do it you will swear that it's impossible.Anyway I'm not impressed with the shift sensor performance. It helps some I guess compared to not having it. But it still slams the gears. Especially when you shift to a faster (smaller cog) gear.See techniques #1 and #2 above. Your drive train will thank you for learning how to do either one of them and not just depending on the shift sensor.

It worked after installing and while testing.Took bike down the road and it doesn't cut power when shifting. Bafang 750w mid drive slams the hell out of gears. Gonna have to try another one before my chain and cassette gets destroyed.

Installed following original setup, sensor does connect and have a slow blinking green light but does not cut power on motor when shifting. Useless. Will return.

Funziona perfettamente. Ogni volta che cambio interrompe la corrente al motore evitando di dare strappi e rovinare la catena. Per installarlo trovate dei tutorial video online, è semplicissimo.

Der Einbau war recht einfach.Tut was es soll, nämlich beim Schalten den Motor kurz wegschalten.Bin zufrieden damit!
