Good overview of the Philippines
This is a good introductory guides for beginning your travel plans. You'll get a nice general knowledge of the islands as well as a taste for what's possible activity-wise.

It’s not really content for a book.
The cover is color, the content is black and white. The content is basically something you’d see as a college essay or something. I read it and thought the entire book should just be a webpage. I gave it to my Filipino partner and he said the exact same thing after looking at it for 2 minutes. :/ Its kind of a small book too, which is the only reason it’s as many pages as it is. Sorry to leave a bad review, but the content just doesn’t justify being a book.
