I don't metabolize caffeine and I have celiac disease, so finding a delicious but safe replacement for coffee is challenging. This is delicious and easy to make.

Hot or cold the best!

I tried the pumpkin spice chicory on clearance and enjoyed that, so I was willing to pay full price on this flavor. The mint is strong and smells great, great iced or hot. I love mixing this with black tea when I want some caffeine still!

Tasty alternative to coffee.

I didn't realize that it is 'grounds', I expected bags. But, I used it just like instant coffee -- stirring in hot water -- and it is fine. The crystals dissolve and it is fine. Actually, this way I can control how strong it is, which I can't do with a bag.

I discovered Teeccino chicory herbal coffee/tea a few years ago when I realized the negative effects coffee was causing me. I haven't stopped drinking it since. It is an excellent substitute to coffee. I choose the dandelion versions for the extra health benefits of dandelion. In this case, I choose the mint for the digestion benefits. It tastes wonderful. Close to coffee. My favorite way to drink it is both hot and cold. Hot- I use a little less than a tablespoon of it, steep in a tea strainer for not too long. For me, it gets a bit too strong if I oversteep. I add non dairy creamer. It is the perfect drink for a cold winter day. Cold- I brew it hot (a little stronger because I am pouring it over ice) , add non dairy creamer, and serve it over ice. My favorite way to drink it if it is too hot outside! I usually guzzle it down in minutes.I have tried all of the dandelion chicory flavors. Most of them I love. The turmeric I mix with the french roast or one of the sweeter ones to bring down the bitterness.

I bought this as a break from tea and tea bags, which I understand contain microplastics that goes into your cup and then into you! I don't like coffee much. But I like it better than this stuff. I had tea bags of this that gave better flavor. Perhaps it's the way I brewed it, boiling water over the stuff in one of those drip things that has its own coffee cup. But the taste started off okay in the cup, so I was hopeful: hints of chocolate, mint--then the flavor kind of dwindled away to water.Would not recommend. Not likely to purchase again. Oh, the dandelion detox aspect--I've only had 2 cups so I doubt there has been any effect at all. I'll probably drink it just because I paid for it, but it needs needs needs creamer or sweetener or SOMETHING to help it.

I love the dandelion mocha mint! As my daughter said, it's like drinking a girl scout thin mint cookie. I bought the tea bags first and they'll be good for travelling. i've transitioned to the loose tea now and brew it in my 1 serving coffee maker. Comes out just right and is much more economical than using the bags.Here are some suggestions for Teeccino: I'd like to try several other flavors, but don't like the combinations in the variety pack. How about a mocha/chocolate/caramel variety pack? Or better yet, the opportunity to choose my own flavors for the sample pack. Some of the flavors in the current packs, I know I wouldn't like.My second suggestion is to offer more flavors in the 5 pound bag, especially the mocha mint. That would be even more economical. Is that a possiblity?UPDATE 6/1/20: I still love this coffee but the Amazon fulfillment services are totally screwing up! For the second time in two weeks I have order the Teeccino Dandelion Mocha MINT and have had delivered the Dandelion Mocha (without the mint). Amazon has refunded my money both times, but it is a nuisance to have to call and then reorder. With Amazon penalizing customers who make returns lately, I'm not happty with the situation. I'm trying again for the third time and keeping my fingers crossed. Maybe customer service can straighten out their packers. I'm about ready to order it elsewhere..

Wonderful coffee substitute, but crazy expensive!!! Very disappointed with the price hike!
