It's a lifesaver for my 90 year old mother-in-law.
This phone is great! It is my 90 year old mother-in-law's lifeline. She couldn't handle operating other phones and couldn't hear well enough. This phone solves both problems. Everyone she calls is on speed dial now. And the phones amplifier lets her turn it up loud enough to hear. Her being able to call anyone she wants whenever she wants has made all the difference and her being happy in Assisted Living. It cost a little more than some but it is worth every penny!

Great Amplification but Receiver not as secure as it should be in the cradle.
Excellent amplification but can't give it 5 stars because the receiver sits too loosely in the cradle.

I returned this phone as it did not work out for my Mom..... but as for as it being good for the hearing impaired it did the job.

Lousy phone
It is a complete disappointment. Worst than our regular phone -I bought it for my Mom who is hard of hearing -even I can't hear with this phone. DO NOT BUY!
