First one I inserted broke. Succeeding tries offered no tension whatsoever, and I was using them for women's sizes 6.5, 7 & 7.5! Don't bother.

Not for larger shoes! I wear a size 10 (womens) and the insert is extremely flimsy inside of any shoe I try it in. It doesn't stand up on it own, doesn't hold the shoe up for display (like straps and details), and it's very loose inside the shoe due to improper shape/form for shoe (it just kind of leans). I would think it should work for smaller size shoes, but I bought these for my heels that are strappy and they don't do what they claim...or what I need them to do.
