I got these clips to replace broken ones on an old day and a half pack I’ve owned for nearly thirty years.After removing the old clips, which were infinitesimally wider in the strap slot, I began to put these new ones on. The triple layered end of the strap (layered to keep the clip from sliding off) was super tight on these smaller clips. I had to work the fabric in and then pull it through using needle nosed pliers, which took a small toll on the strap material. Once I got them on, they worked perfectly, though just a touch too snug in the connection point.Four stars for being a cheap and durable replacement, but not five since they are not quite large enough for thicker strapping.

Purchased this set to modify the straps on my vehicle snow cover. The ones that go over the side mirrors can either stretch or will not stretch enough for ease of installation. I cut the loop and attached the buckle pair to the ends and it was done. No more struggling with the loops to get the cover secured. One other thing I did was to singe the end with a torch before installing the buckles.
