I tried a few different options (double sided tape, velcro, and carpet tack strips) to hang my 6 x 9 oriental carpet on the wall,, but none of them worked due to the weight of the carpet. I ultimately settled on these tapestry clips. They hold the carpet firmly, yet gently enough not to damage the pile or the weave on the back.. They are small and unobtrusive and don't distract from the wall hanging itself. We mounted a small piece of molding on the wall, painted it the same color as the wall, attached the clips to our carpet and then hung the entire thing off the edge of the molding. It really is the best way to keep the carpet and the fibers intact and undamaged.

What do you hang a Wampa with? It's the age old question. We all know how the Wampa hung Luke, but what if the tables were turned? These clips were perfect. We strategically attached them to the wall, and hung his scary carcass for all our guests to enjoy at out Star Wars themed condo near Disney World! Just what we needed.

My aunt purchased some for her tapestry and recommended for a huge story cloth that I have at home. It works well but I was a bit concerned about it leaving marks on the cloth in the long term so I placed some plastic between the teeth and the cloth.

Used this item to hang a wall tapestry; well built and nice designed. I would like for a bronze color to be available. The only problem is the hook part is very small, it will only accommodate a 5/16 or so rod; which will not hold the weight of a heavy tapestry-like the one I hung. I used a piece of crown molding (purchased at my local home dept store) and it works great.

I bought these to keep a broken zipper on a cover for my gold cart. The zipper broke and i needed something to clip to the both sides of the cover to keep it closed from flapping in the wind. The first week, 3 of the clips stopped staying clipped. Luckily, i had bought more then i needed. I use six clips on the flap and so far the others are staying closed for now. Not happy with the failure of the others.

Bought to hang some tapestries and work well, I would prefer them to be a bit smaller and available in other colors...but otherwise they do the job!

I bought these to hang hand loomed wool rugs from Mexico. They were each 3’ x 4-6’. They accommodated each rug easily and hung with ease. I am happy with my purchase.

Beautifully made, highest imaginable quality. I use 4 of these to hang an 8 x 4 ft Persian rug on a 1/4 inch oak rail, and 3 for anything smaller.My only lament is that, if I was in the U.S, directly from the manufacture's website, I could get them for less than one quarter of the price.But, there is no substitute for the best.
