It us unusual to find a basic product tick all the boxes . I was stunned by its quality and attention to detail . Even the instructions were beautifully produced although i spotted kne error . Good fixings washers and a trimming pot to adjust the final result so it can dim to virtually no light . I bought three if them Highly Recommended

A good budget dimmer although it does not reduce the brightness to very low, just low.

No proper cable clamp. It uses the case to "clamp" the cable. This does not work on thin twin flex, which is what many table lamps use. If the cable gets snagged and pulled, it could pull out of the dimmer, exposing live wires.However, it works well with an incandescent spotlight. Good to be able to pre-set a light level, and then turn it on/off with the push switch.

I replaced anothe dimmer with this one - as the previous was too clever for its own good - it didn't switch on again when power was removed and re-applied.I use this with a smart plug and a dimmable LED on low, as a feature light, and it's superb. The dimmer works with the LED light down to a low level with no discernable flicker, and retains its previously set dim level when repowered. I've fitted it, and forgotten it. It's superb!

I have 10m of LED strip light built into shelves which worked with a normal on/off switch. It took many, many hours to install, and looked great on completion (all concealed and built-in). I bought this thinking a dimming function would enhance it.I wired it in correctly. Yes, correctly. Checked and rechecked, and I have been doing this for decades. When I switched it on, there was some fizzing a loud crack and it has killed all the LED strip. Fire hazard? I would say very much so.Now I have to take out all the previously working LED strip and replace. That's a cost, but the time and effort it will take is eye-watering.DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Really don't.

Did a great job of converting a switched lamp to a dimmer. The dimming range can be adjusted to suit the bulb and your needs. It’s a little larger than I expected otherwise I’d have given it 5 stars.Robustly made and easy to fit.

Das Produkt ist ein Schalter und Dimmer für den Niedrigspannungsbereich (14-24V). Direkt an eine 240V-Leitung darf er nicht angeschlossen werden, dafür gibt es passende Produkte des Herstellers. Es gibt aber leider keine Klemmvorrichtung (Zugentlastung) für die Anschlusskabel.Im Inneren kann man die Frequenz der Pulsdauermodulation mit einer Schraube einstellen, zwischen 80Hz und 16kHz.Einen Stern ziehe ich ab wegen den kleinen oben genannten Mängeln.

Il y a un élément très important auquel je n'ai pas fait attention au moment de l'achat, c'est la notion "basse tension". Je n'ai donc pas pu utiliser le variateur et le tester sur du 220-240 V.
