EXCELLENT QUALITY BALANCE SNAKE
This snake is in constant use in my recording studio. I use it to bring the drum microphone outputs to the console. It also works well for balanced line-level applications.I have a lot of high-end cables which I mainly use for reference. In my opinion this snake sounds as good as individual runs of Mogami shielded-pair cable. I tested this snake in my lab for inline impedance and capacitance, it was very low in both readings (that is a good thing). The jacket on this snake is nice and soft but it would probably be damaged if you were not careful with it or dragged it on concrete or asphalt.I personally handle and take good care of my cables, I have had zero problems with this snake. A fair price, shipped fast, packed well, excellent function, I'd say it's an great value for the money.I am considering buying another one, it is so handy for a variety of applications.I would definitely buy this again if it was lost or stolen.

Love it!
This little thing rocks! There was no noise in the channels. They fit snugly in the board. So far. I'm pleased. I am concerned about how long it will last because the wires are pretty flimsy. But, for the price I guess you can't beat it. I will say, however, from a musician's perspective I am very thankful for their labeling. It is extremely easy to read even in low lighting. Great job!

Cheap and reliable
I've used this sub snake for over a decade. In every situation it's been through indoor outdoor, been banged around, always stayed reliable. Only drawback is that the plastic connector from the cable to the box can come loose from time to time, but 4 Phillips screws on the back of the box are easily removable and it can be screwed back in. Highly recommend.

Great Product! Recorded Live Drum Kit During a Gig. Sounds Great!
I ordered the sub snake and it was delivered quickly. The 50ft length is perfect for use on the road with my Zoom LiveTrak L-20R 20-channel Remote-controlled Digital Mixer / Recorder. I conveniently hooked up the snake to my Audix Drum Mic Kit to record our jazz trio live during a gig. It worked out perfectly! The best thing is I can use the snake in my home studio and out on the road. Great buy.

Worth the money
Lives up to expectation for a Hosa product as I've owned a bunch of their cables and adapters over the years. The brand isn't top quality but it's by no means cheap either! The "Little Bro" snake is a good representation of Hosa in that it works well out of the box and should provide average durability. One thing about this snake and Hosa in general is that they use fairly cheap XLR connectors. The same XLR plug is used in all Hosa products that I've ever owned and I've experienced the same thing with all of them and I'm sure down the road this snake will also experience the same thing. That is, the way the connectors are made they allow the cable to have too much stress pulling on the solder joints and eventually the wire breaks away from the pins strand by strand as the wire moves in the rubber boot. It's the nature of using cheap XLR connectors that have a weak design to them. They last for awhile but they will require re-soldering sooner than if industry standard Neutrik connectors were used instead. All that said, this is a worthwhile purchase for the price and it does much to eliminate up to eight individual XLR cable runs across a stage or house floor. It cleans up a cable run very well and really, if you don't need to move the snake around like a semi-perminant install vs on the road gigging all the time it should last for years.

Very convenient
Using in home studio. Works great and is noise-free to my ear. Really made a huge difference in the level of clutter at both the mixer and on the floor. I notice no difference in sound vs. straight cable to interface. This is probably not the best option for live use IF you are not diligent with your cable rolling routine. Even if you are, I could see the input jacks wearing out over time, but the cable itself is as solid as anyone else’s. I’m satisfied.

If this is what you need
It gets the job done. I was tired of dealing with cables across my basement floor, getting tangled and tripped over and the overall aesthetic. This snake was an obvious solution as my interface has a total of eight inputs that are now being utilized when needed without having to... you guessed it.. deal with cables across my basement floor, getting tangled etc.... it's built well enough if you leave it alone. 25 feet was more than enough, not to mention the entire distance your microphone cables will provide. Advice, make sure you label your interface/microphones/mixer what have you to keep track of things.

So far, so good
Plugs are secure, sound quality is stellar, price is waaay better than the alternatives. For such a thick cable, is also quite soft, which is great for cooling and transporting in our big bin of stuff we take to every gig. Makes setup and tear down way easier — I just label the inputs with which mic I want plugged in, and our drummer and bass player know exactly where to plug in, and I can handle the inputs at the mixer with no confusion. A huge time saver!
