The Fresh Beat Band: Season 1

For kids with an interest in dancing and music, this is a great clean show. I have yet to see anything offensive or inappropriate coming out of its content. The acting can be really silly sometimes but it makes our daughters laugh and be happy. My now nearly 5 years old daughter has been watching it since she was 2 and she just loves it. . I actually have some of their songs memorized and often catch myself singing them. The lyrics are often about friendship, dealing positively with difficulties, and helping others. As a result of this show, she has developed an interest in dancing and music and she is now taking lessons at a local academy. I believe these things are very important because it help kids develop their social skills, confidence in life and humanity. I personally can't say I would sit down to watch the show all the time but based on the positive response I see from my daughter and how she is connecting ideas about team work, being nice to others, helping out their friends, etc, while referencing the program, I would say that's enough to warrant the 5 star rating

My child and I love The Fresh Beat Band. They don't come on regular cable anymore so this was a fantastic deal. We are so excited. This DVD was a super super deal that you can't find anywhere else. I searched and finally found a seller who was selling for an affordable price. I actually am very pleased because this DVD is worth so much. I was lucky to find this for my child. I would recommend this DVD to any Fresh Beat Band fan. You can't go wrong. Waited so long to find this and now we have it and can spend time together watching our show we love. My 18 month old and I watch a LOT of The Fresh Beat Band. Her mother is musically talented and it seems she has inherited that! This show is great for learning because the characters sing at least 3 songs every episode. They incorporate basic music terms into the show and explain them in a way that is easy to understand. Each episode also shows kids how to work together to solve problems, basic socialization skills, and confidence building.It helps that the actors who portray the characters make the show easy to watch for adults as well.We plan on enjoying The Fresh Beat Band for many years!

My five year old granddaughter has liked the Fresh Beat Band since she was a toddler. We recently found these 3 seasons on Amazon and have been binge watching them. I admit I'm getting a little tired of the relentless joy, but the messages and the music are very nice. I hope it encourages kids to play musical instruments and dance. I know all the songs now. I'm really old and sort of crippled, so I don't dance with the "kids", but I sure do sing.

My son has enjoyed the Fresh Beat Band for years and he loves the music only problem is they are very hard to come by . I wish you offered more of the cds and dvds by the band

I chose this four star rating because it is a fun way to help kids to learn social values. I like the way the young actors/performersinteract with their younger television viewers. I would refer The Fresh Beat Band video to my friends and co-workers with kids.And last, I think it brings out the kid in an adult- ask my sister who is a grandmother to my six old year nephew (Stew Warner) who I brought the video for(I like it too!).

I bought this set because my daughter saw 1 episode on YouTube and fell in love. So this was the perfect gift for her. She's current binge watching each dvd!

First of all my 2 year old LOVES this show. We were having a family vacation and were stuck in a traffic jam/snowstorm that took a 4hr trip to being a 9.5hr trip. Fortunately we were able to download some of the shows while in traffic as a lifesaver from cabin fever! Unfortunately these are not the widescreen format as they are recorded on our DVR widescreen and HD. I understand that Unbox is still exploring HD shows but at least down rez these in their native format. Almost every new laptop and tv is being produced in a widescreen format. Time to go with it and leave the 4:3 behind.
