The unit does not work well. I was extremely optimistic but no matter how I varied the speed of the cutting unit it turned the pills into powder and fragments. I had to guess at the dose. I asked for a return.

These are very hard pills. They just shatter when I press down. I tried slowly and fast. Same results. The only way I have been able to cut these is with a scalpel and head mounted magnifying lenses.

How do you use this thing? There's no instructions. Ugh! Seems cheap

Difficult to load up the pills with 1 person because you need to open the spring loaded track holder with 1 hand and hold it open, and it doesnt have any convenient tabs or anythign that you can push apart easily with 1 hand while you place the pill in the center. A simple redesign could fix this. Not going to complain about the propensity to shatter the occasional pill because all pill splitters do that anyway. This is my 5th attempt and it will be the last unless I can get one 3D printed with a proper design finally.

It's one of two pill cutters I saw that cuts pills into quarters. The other one may have been better, but I don't know. This one does a fair to good job with cutting pills into quarters, but it depends on the size of the pill, it's hardness and any coatings. I don't need great precision which means it's a satisfactory time-saver for me. For cutting pills in half it wasn't so good. So, for best precision when cutting pills in half I may continue to use a razor blade and reading glasses.

Save time and worked great for cutting into 4s. Tried other methods and this one was the best for this purpose.

It worked ok at first, but the springs used for the guides that hold the pills in place do not have equal tension causing the pills to be off center. It was a minor issue, easily adjusted manually, at first, but it has become progressively worse. The blades became dull quickly.

Cuts multiple pills at once.

Unlike other pill cutters that claims to cut pills into quarters, this one can actually cut a pill into quarters because it has a crossing pair of blades.As for cutting multiple pills into halves, it also does work fairly well.The only downside is that the alignment mechanism is not secured against "twisting" so it can get misaligned a little. Still, it's a very good product.
