This is a perfectly acceptable lightweight shirt if you're looking for something that is comfortable and offers good sun protection. If you have owned a Columbia brand shirt that looks like this and you're hoping this will be the same... it's not. It's good... don't get me wrong. It's just not AS good, and it's only a little cheaper. If saving $10 for a good but not AS good shirt is what you're looking for then definitely buy this. It is comfortable and looks good and wears well, based on my experience so far. It has prevented me from getting sunburned (and I am VERY pale). But if you are looking for the amazingly weightless and remarkably breathable fabric Columbia uses, this will fall a bit short of your expectations.

So I normally wear xlt t-shirt to go over a 250lb dad-bod+ . In this shirt though, if you are built like captain america or a linebacker with really broad shoulders It wont matter if you do 2x or 3x the size across the "yoke" in the back seems to be the same. The 3x had slightly longer and large arms, and around the stomach area there was a lot more room in the 3x than the 2x, BUT no additional side to side movement with the back which is what I needed. Given this factor I am keeping the 2x to go to dinner and go out etc in hot climates but I would not use it for hiking or fishing I just don't have enough slack across the shoulders.

This is my second purchase. The product and material is very good and kept me cool in hiking. The size runs large like Columbia's men's shirt. I'm 5'10" 160 lb. I bought a Medium at first. It actually was a bit loose for me (sleeve was a little longer and the collar was too wide.) I used it anyway. I then ordered a Small size just to check it out. It turns out to be a much better fit (sleeve is still long enough and the collar is an excellent fit!) Would buy again in the future.

This shirt worked perfectly for what I needed. It was perfect to keep in my Daypack for for when I needed an extra layer but I didn't need a full sweatshirt. It is lightweight and breathable. I did have to roll the cuffs up because it was way too long for me But that was easy to do.

It's a fishing shirt. It's a hiking shirt. It's a travel shirt. It's a "classy casual restaurant" shirt. Nice fit.I bought 4 other shirts from 4 other brands and this is the one I kept. Hope you like yours too!
