Puppy approves.
Bought this to go in bed with new puppy. He likes the bear but it's too easy for him to remove the battery heart. We've had to remove it to stop him chewing it. He is happy with just the bear though

Brilliant
Brought our new puppy home on saturday and she refused to sleep unless she was snuggled onto someones chest. Two long nights later I figured what the hell and damn but it's like a drug. It took her seconds to fall asleep. Fingers crossed it keeps working.

Not very effective
Summary: not effective, small risk of danger so donât use the heating component at all.We took a risk on this in the hope t would comfort our 8 week old puppy. She loves the toy - but she loves all toys! - and will happily chew it. The heartbeat seems to have little effect. In fact, I would say that it encourages her to bite it more.The warm pouch was easy to heat up but I decided to cut down the recommended time to 1 minute. Just as well as the stones were super hot when removed from the microwave.The pocket in the toy isnât really big enough for the stone pouch and the heart. When both are inserted, it is difficult to close.The Velcro helps to keep it shut for a while but our puppy can pull it open with enough effort. I donât put the stones inside now as I worry she might pull them out and rip open the little bag.

Magical toy
My dog is an Italian greyhound so he loves to cuddle and i wanted him to have something when Iâm not home. When this first arrived i was a bit concerned because he was scared of the heart beat but i just cuddled with him while holding the heart and he got warmed up to it quickly. Although i heart makes a fairly noticeable vibrating sound when you are close to it and i was very annoyed. I used a squishy material to make a case for the heart and it made the vibration fairly better. I then let my dog sit with the toy for a while. The heart beat stayed on for over an hour and i manually turned it off even though some reviews said it o it stays on for 20 minutes. Then it was time to go to sleep and my dog carried this (pretty heavy for a small dog) toy up two flights of stairs into his bed. I was shocked to see how attached he was to it. The material is very soft and my dog absolutely loves it!
