Fantastic tea pot for loose tea.
I love using loose teas and green teas etc. This arrived well before the expected delivery date despite being mailed straight from Japan. It was even wrapped in Japanese newspaper to prove it! I was out when it was delivered so Royal Mail threw the parcel over my 2 meter high garden gate onto paving slabs on the other side. The box and contents even survived that attack! It is a lovely tea pot about the right size for a mug and a half of your favourite leafy brew. It dismantles easily to clean it and the stainless mesh filter. Looks great, pours great and goes nicely with my oriental tea bowl in a similar colour. Very pleased with my purchase and would recommend to anyone who loves loose tea.

Perfect for Loose Tea Lovers
Perfect for a lover of loose tea. Beautifully designed with a really good sized lift-out strainer. This is essential for brewing with loose tea. So many small pots have a strainer that is so small the tea can't brew. The finish of the pot is lovely, with a detachable lid for washing. It not only looks good, but makes an excellent cuppa and pours without dripping. I have paired mine with a perfectly sized tea cosy: Rushbrookes by Dexam Red Flamenco Spot Cotton 2 Cup Tea Cosy 16163760 and an ideal cork pot stand: T&G 150 x 20 mm Woodware Cork Small Round Chunky Pot Stand This would make a perfect gift for a tea junkie. Lovely, but fragile
This is a beauty of a teapot, but I've broken two now - the handle is the weak point (not to mention the lid...)So: it's lovely. If you like yellow, its a great yellow, and the crackle glaze is fun. It's just the right size for a mug of tea.It pours OK - if it's full then to start with tea comes from around the lid a little. The problem I've had is with the handle. Both times something has bashed the handle of the teapot, and it's just smashed. First time I sent off for another. Second time... well I've just poured a cup of tea by holding it with a tea-towel!The lid (might as well mention it after all) is a bit fragile too, at the hinge the clips on mine have bent.

Such a pretty teapot
Absolutely love this teapot. So pretty, pours smoothly and easy to clean. The size provides more or less 1.5 mugs full so if you want it for two you need the larger size. For one though it’s perfect. Also would be lovely as a gift.

Perfect
Beautiful, functional. Banana colour was exactly as in the pictures. Delivery was amazingly fast. I'm not able to pour tea without dripping a single drop to the table as well but I haven't practiced that many times yet. Maybe someday.
