First off, shipping was quick and easy - always a huge plus! This is a beautiful mug and the craftmanship does not disappoint. I ordered two more - one for my son and one for my son-in-law. It did not have a weird smell. It looks authentic and the etching looks amazing. The handle fits my hand well and the bottom is flat and smooth, keeping the mug in place. I 100% recommend this.
