quad cane adjustable offset soft cushioned handle
So the description states this is a:-BeneCane quad cane adjustable walking cane with offset soft cushioned handle, for men & women lightweight comfortable with 4-pronged feet for extra stability. My father has very bad arthritis and have been walking with sticks for a few years. But I was looking for something that was more suitable for him as he didn't want to use a zimmer.Because these have four stopper feet instead of the normal one, gives me hope that it's making him more steady on his feet. Also that the Offset Handle gives him more of a grip.Suitable for people between:- 4’8’’~ 6’3’’Adjustable height:- 29" ~ 38"I'm really pleased, so much so I purchased another one, so he can use two at the same time.I feel happy that he feels a lot safer walking inside and outside the house. In his words "I'm not going to slipping and sliding on the stone flagstones in the back garden."Because of the 4 stoppers means the stick stays standing up, u like a normal walking stick you have to place it somewhere so it's at hand. No matter where my dad put his old sticked they would always be in the way or fall on the floor. These now stand up by the side of his chair so they are at hand when needed.Only downside is that my mother says there is a slight clicking noise like when you're using crutches because of the adjustable mechanism. But for me that is nothing knowing he can still get around when needed and safely. So far so goodBut I will update this review if needed.*** Detail's:- * Brand:- BeneCane * Material:- Aluminium, Metal * Colour:- Blue * Holds:- 380lbs / 27st * Adjustable height:- 29" to 38" * Cushioned Offset Handle

Stable and sturdy
This Benecane Walking Stick comes packed in a polythene bag with a small instruction leaflet – assembly is easy which really just amounts to putting one tube into the other and locking it at the right height for the user. A wrist strap is provided plus a couple of spare feet are also included. The overall build quality is quite good and the cane feels very sturdy plus the feet offer good grip. The standout feature is obviously the four feet – my mum who is 89 summarised it by saying “you trade a small element of portability for much greater stability”, whether that trade is worth it depends on the user’s needs. There is also the benefit that as a result of having four feet this stick is free standing. The foam hand grip is comfortable and not too sweaty in use and the length of the stick is easily adjustable from 29” to 38”, according to the manufacturer this makes it suitable for people from 4ft 7” to 6ft 3”. The cane is locked to length by a sprung ball and hole ratchet-type design, on my example the screwed locking collar doesn’t seem to provide much if any, extra grip but the stick is still safe and sturdy. The handle design is also good and it’s slightly offset which helps take the user’s weight more effectively.Overall, a decent and stable walking cane that trades a slightly bigger footprint for greatly improved stability, for many users that’s a very worthwhile exchange.

Reliable sticks
I have to buy two for my Son who has cerebral Palsy, they have to be sturdy and lightweight as this is the only way he can be independent. I have to say they are a bit pricey to what I normally would pay but I like the colours better than the usual grey. Thankyou

My quad stick was damaged on arrival from the manufacturer, not through transit
After reading great reviews about this quad stick I was very disappointed that mine was damaged in the manufacturing of the stick and not through transit as I am disabled and I can’t get to the post office to send it back to exchange it for another one I managed after a couple of hours to fix the problem to the best I could now in use I find it nice and light wait to walk with and I’m happy now so much better than my old one

Lovely cane
I love the colour as I went for the red one. I purchase due to mobility problems and does the trick. Thank you.

Came damaged, handle torn and paintwork scratched
Nice sticks but for the price would expect them to be perfect. With a tear on one of the grips I can not see it lasting long as I was hoping paying that price. The sticks are a good design apart from the damage

Light, strong and stable support.
This walking aid is good for anyone needing more than just a walking stick, but not perhaps needing a walking frame. It is light but strong and the height has a very good adjustment range (over twelve inches). The handle has a soft grip covering which is comfortable to hold. I find difficulty using nanybstandard types of walking stick because my hands are very arthritic and many walking stick handles do not leave room for my swollen fingers to grip the stick, but this handle is perfect - lots of room for my fingers, avoiding painful pressure on my finger joints. One minor gripe is that it looks so ‘age’ targeted. The turquoise colour is fine but it would have been lovely to have a floral or jazzy pattern or some modern design instead of just so plain. Also, it would be lovely to have alternative ‘ends’ - a fitting to attach to the handle and main stem that is just a normal walking stick end instead of the four legged piece. I do need the four legs on really bad days but otherwise a normal stick is sufficient and as the hand area on this is so good, I would like to use it as my main stick rather than save if just for bad days - if only it had interchangeable lower parts! However, this is an excellent value stick for anyone needing a jour-leg one and esoeciallybif they have painful hands as the handle is very good and the stick overall is strong.
