No more Cone of Shame!
This collar is a godsend. Unlike the traditional plastic cone, my cat has decent peripheral vision, and can easily sleep, eat, and even jump up on counters. The latter could arguably be considered a disadvantage, particularly because he keeps knocking things over with the collar, but it’s so nice to see him doing regular cat stuff. Also, it’s cheap, and easy to put on, although we had to adjust it a few times to get a secure fit (he managed to get it off the first two or three times we put it on). Just make sure it’s tight enough and that the Velcro connection is solid. Measure your cat’s neck carefully. This guy is five months old and we ordered a small. Fits perfectly!

Perfect Soft Cone For Large Cats!
I needed to find a larger sized cone for my 16lb (at the time) Maine coon. The one he came home with made him very uncomfortable and it was hard for him to move around or eat. I initially bought the medium based on the sizing recommendations and while we were able to make it work because of the amount of Velcro for adjustment, I came back and got the large. My boy has a really large head and neck, so I needed something adjustable but sturdy. The Velcro on this works really well! If your cat has a large head, I would recommend the large size, no matter the sizing guide. Because of the adjustability of the Velcro part, it’s easy to size up or down. It’s made of a water resistant material so it doesn’t get wet easily but when it does get dirty, it’s machine washable! It also lays flat or folds for storage which is really helpful. The cone is sturdy and large enough to keep him from licking his wounds but soft and wide enough that he doesn’t mind wearing it at all. It doesn’t mess with his whiskers which is a big issue for him. He hasn’t once tried to take it off, unlike the vet-given cone which he was constantly wrestling with. We were able to keep it on him for the whole two weeks he needed to wear it without any issues. Overall a great investment. I can see using this on all three of my cats even though the other two are much smaller. I just love the coverage area, the washability, and the comfort of it.

Light weight and perfect depth for short snout dog breeds
Our Shih Tzu recently had surgery on his right hind leg and it was critical to recovery that h doesn’t lick or bite at the incision site once the bandage was removed, 4 days post op. The hospital had put him in a high plastic cone in which he can neither eat or drink. We changed to our inflatable neck pillow cone but it could almost reach the leg in spite of his short face, so after much research, we settled on this cone. We have it only 4 days but so far it has been a life saver. What do we like about it: it’s very light weight, the part that touches the neck isn’t nearly as sharp as that of the typical plastic cones, it has very strong and wide velcro closure (rather than the awkward closure of many plastic cones) so it stays in place. It can be made flatter or more cone shaped as it’s made of multiple panels that can be somewhat oriented, it’s soft material that you can clean easily. Also because of the multiple panels, it folds into a relatively small size for storing or traveling. The 4.5 in depth makes it ideal for any short snout canine breed. Finally, our dog is able to sleep, eat and drink when wearing the cone, and of course, to give us dirty looks because he knows it’s sold for cats.

Comfortable, stays, but not enough coverage
This is perfect. It's comfortable. My cat doesn't mind it at all. But her wound is on her butt. And the cone isn't quite wide enough so she can still kind of reach it. But it worked for the most part. She wore it for a month. It fits so tight, it's nice....she can't take it off.

Great alternative to the plastic cones
My cat recently had surgery and the plastic hospital cone was irritating her chin. She was constantly trying to get it off, and looked very uncomfortable. I purchased this as an alternative. Works fantastic! It is lightweight so she hardly notices it. My cat is approx. 11 pounds, and I purchased the size medium. It stays put around her neck and yet is comfortable enough that she is very mobile, can even jump onto counters, and yet she can't remove it. I take it off while she eats, but only because she's a messy eater and I quickly put it back on after she's done. The velcro fastener is very easy to use. Takes seconds to put collar on or take off. I am very pleased with this cat recovery collar as my cat hardly notices it, and yet cannot scratch her surgery wound or hot spots, and she's healing nicely. Also the price was not too bad either, and the collar is cute.

Too short of a cone
So I bought this cone a few weeks ago for my kitten since he had an upcoming neuter. He came home with his plastic cone of shame and I went ahead and switched him out with this one. It’s absolutely adorable, he loves the padding and sleeping his head on it. It made it easy for him to eat and drink. However, the fit wasn’t great. I used the size guide and ordered a small, but weirdly it was too big, I love that it’s adjustable but having to make it fit more snug took away some of the strength of the velcro. And my kitten had to get emergency surgery since he was able to get at his incision, the vet told me this cone was way too short and fitted me with a much longer cone. While I think it’s good, I do wish it were longer so I didn’t have this happen.

Worked great!
Love this option for my cat instead of the hard plastic! He was able to lay comfortably in his usual spots. He did get it off a few times, almost like the Velcro weakened over time. The quality was good, it’s flexible and fit well. It was easy to get on and off and simple to adjust. He was able to eat without any trouble. We had to put an uncovered litter box out for him since he could not go in his normal cat box

EXCELENTE!

Perfect
This small pet surgical collar worked perfect! My 20 year old cat had a growth removed off her lip. She wore this collar after surgery with no problem at all. It seemed very comfortable for her. It is easy on and off. Easy to keep clean. Is not too big and bulky. Even my vets office loved it. I highly recommend this!
