Seller is color blind
Seller is color blind. They sent black. Amazon very difficult with resolution.Sealed unit, 18 to 30 pounds of charcoal. Your choice. UV600 in 18 pounds charcoal, HEPA filter with the UV light for under 400. We have had a P600 in the basement for over 10 years. Our basement has never smelled, unless we created the disaster. Just crank it on high for an hour and all the basement odor we made is GONE. The P600 has run 24/7 without issue and probably hasn’t been cleaned in 3 years, it’s abused, but she’s still kickin it. A UV600 for under 400 to kill the dust and family odor upstairs is a win win. You can’t beat Airpura, but hey anything from Canada is just good stuff.

Made the air worse, Upsold on an upgraded internal filter, Did not solve the problem.
I saw this unit recommended for MCS (multiple chemical sensitivity) and I ordered it years ago when it was even more expensive ($1100). I let it run for about a week in an unused room before evaluating it, to account for any break-in period, then I rolled it into the main living area and let it run. It made the room smell like burning wood. Not good. The unit was super heavy and I have a physical disability, getting it out of the box alone was a nightmare, so returning it wasn't possible. I set it aside for a while.Later I reached out to the company. They told me I was just too sensitive and people with severe MCS needed their new filter inside the unit, which they said wasn't available when I purchased the unit. (I thought this was all very odd because the unit had already been recommended for MCS.) They said there was a hefty restocking fee if I returned the new carbon filter, but I decided it was worth a shot. Nope. Even after letting the unit run for a while in the spare room, which the company recommended (to let the carbon "cure" or something), it still made the room smell like burning wood, causing irritation to my throat and nasal passages. My emails to the company were ignored. At this point I gave up, and as of a few months ago it's no longer under warranty. Total loss. I'm guessing there's something wrong with the unit. It makes no sense to me that after spending $1300 to ensure I'd have healthy air to breathe that it would make the air worse. I know I'm sensitive, but that's why I invested $1300 in an air purifier. Also, it's extremely heavy. I should have just paid someone to come pack it and send it back. Even if I'd paid them $200 bucks to do so I would have saved so much. What a nightmare. I feel like the company knows that the unit is so hard to pack and return, it would be even for someone without a disability. Once you click "complete purchase" they've got you and there's not much you can do. There are few things I regret in life. Purchasing this unit is one of them. :(
