Used for chickens, works great

These are idea for what I ordered them for.. I used them in a big trash can to feed chickens.. they worked great. But a side note chickens are very wasteful so it wasn’t such a great idea.. food kept coming out and after the food would get on the ground they didn’t want to eat it. So it might be ok if it’s on wood..

My husband installed these on 20 and 23 gallon plastic trash cans. The feeder holes are very nice, doesn't stop all feed billeting, but does help reduce feed waste. Even my white turkeys are able to feed through them, which is nice.The water cups are a bit flimsy though, so I'm not quite as happy with them. In the 1st 24 hour period, 1 cup got broken off at the little hinge pins that hold them in place on the base. Inconvenient, but manageable with some good gator tape for now until I can seal the port with some sort of glue or another.It's just a lightweight plastic and can/is easily snapped and broke by poultry being poultry, so I took away a star for that. To date the other 11 that have been installed evenly in 2 different new trash cans are working okay......so 11 of 12 for over 50 birds currently isn't too bad.

Value for $, good items but the was cup tend to break easily if bump by large chicken!

If anyone is having problems with leaking waterers, old plastic tops breaking, running out of water when you want to take. Trip I say get these! I saved all my plastic kitty litter pails and put the feed and the water in them with these. They are the best thing I’ve ever bought. I did them myself with the drill and hole saw that came with the spouts all you need is a drill. I made them all in no time. MeVe the white rubber gasket on water spout on the outside of pail and they never leak. Babies can reach to drink big chickens drink and the feeders stayed filled while I was gone.

It's easy to do but the water cups are cheap the bend and break easily. The food one are great.

Bought these inside of spending a ton of money on already made ones. Used them with 5 gallon buckets from Lowe’s and they worked great! Would definitely recommend as a cost saving method for feed and water for chickens!!

The food dispensers work well. The water bowls leak I had to drill holes a size smaller and use plumber sealer around them to prevent leaking. We now use the nipples under the buckets instead of the bowls. Good luck.
