I ordered this light to replace a stylus pro and having the high/low light level is very handy. I can confirm the light is at least water resistant because I have been caught in several torrential downpours while working out in the field and it has held up with zero issues.The battery life is fairly good but you will notice a visible dimming after carrying and using it for a few weeks without changing the battery. Overall I am very impressed with the lights performance after owning it for 2 months.

I love this light for the stated reasons in the headline. I have two or three Olights now and they have all held up well. The anodized aluminum construction is strong and sturdy. I've never had a switch or bulb fail. And they all throw their light far and bright enough for my purposes, which is situational awareness when camping or walking. I chose the bright orange color simply because if I drop this, it's easier to find.This is not my EDC light that I carry with a defensive tool. It's slightly too long so when it sits in my pocket it either rides up or presses into my stomach. Knowing that limitation, I've reserved it for camping or walking at night. Otherwise this is an excellent little light for the money.

Awsome light, super bright with good battery life and very durable.

Love the light but the button has stopped working and I can't turn it off. 5 year warranty should covervthis since I've only had it 3-4 months

The best thing about this flashlight is the brightness. I have a thrunite comparable flashlight, that is much more comfortable in the hand, but not nearly as bright rated at 500 lumen. The olight is on the slippery side, but much brighter rated at 550 lumen. The tail switch is annoying in that the dull beam comes on first. If this unit is on for any extended period of time, it get's a little hot. I would not pay retail for the olight unit.

I really like this flashlight. Made well and bright for two batteries. The only thing I didn’t like was the price.
