Fresh Lavender, Read This Review Carefully If You Want to Try Tea
The lavender I received is fresh and of good quality. These are wonderful to add to dream pillows, are great for metaphysical purposes and aromatherapy. DO NOT LEAVE THESE LAYING NEAR PETS. As a friendly reminder, lavender is TOXIC to both dogs and cats.If you decide you want to make yourself lavender tea, DO BE CAREFUL. While lavender is generally considered safe for human consumption, it can act as a sedative. It can make you feel sleepy and even slow your breathing. Do not drink this as tea if you have respiratory ailments or breathing problems, it can exacerbate them. If you decide to try it as a tea, make sure you are not allergic to it. If you develop a headache or nausea, stop drinking this immediately. Drinking lavender tea can cause side effects in some people. While lavender tea is nice, it's not for everybody. I personally love the scent and taste of lavender, especially in tea. I grew up in a rural area and still live in a rural area. It isn't unusual for people in our area to go out to the garden or woods to prepare floral and herbal teas. It is fine so long as you know exactly what you are doing, like how to properly identify plants, as well as any benefits and side effects. I've made tea from pine needles, basil, sage, nasturtium, hibiscus, marigold and lavender to name a few. Lavender has a very calming and relaxing effect on the body. If you like the taste of the tea, be sure not to get carried away. Small amounts only. You do NOT want to be ingesting lavender excessively, or you will likely experience unwanted side effects. Moderation is key here. The product itself is of good quality and versatile. Highly recommend ordering.

These lavender flowers are fresh & fragrant; perfect 4 tea, potpourri, bath bombs, etc.
These lavender buds (ingredients are dried lavender flowers) are fresh and fragrant. It comes in a 5 ounce resealable bag that is best before Nov 22, 2023 and it's current June 16, 2022, so that is almost 1.5 years for use.I made the lavender tea (it's acutally a tisane) with one teaspoon of the buds in 8 ounces of boiling water and steeped for 10 minutes. The resulting brew was a pale purplish gray. The tea had a faint taste of lavender and it was very relaxing to drink.Note that the package says these are edible lavender buds, which means they can be used in recipes such as lavender brownies and lavender ice cream, etc. They can also be used for other do-it-yourself (DIY) projects such as making bath salts, bath bombs, potpourri, fragrance sachets, etc. These are food-grade, caffeine free, 100% natural, and have no additives. The current price of $10.99 is very reasonable for this bag of lavender flowers (a.k.a. buds).

Goes So Well With Lemon In Food And Beverages
5 ounces of culinary lavender from China comes packed in a zip-close plastic bag. The buds are nicely dried and have a wonderful scent.Aside from going old-school and using lavender buds in sachets or bath products, I find that food grade lavender goes particularly well with lemon in food and beverages. Lavender is a wonderful addition to lemonade, lemon shortbread, and grilled chicken with a lemon/lavender butter sauce. That little touch of purple looks so delightful when the dish is served.Considering how light dried lavender buds are, this 5 ounce bag holds enough buds to keep me busy dreaming up ways to cook with lavender all summer.

Dried lavender flowers
Dried lavender flowers are pretty potent. I only used a small amount to make some tea and it really made me sleepy. I tried using some flowers into a heating pad and it worked out really nicely.

Fresh. Fragrant. Easy seal pouch. Good value, too
Fresh, dried, fragrant lavender flowers.Comes in a resealable laminated pouch that takes up little pantry storage space and helps preserve freshness.Great for scenting application and culinary uses. We make lavender lemonade and iced tea and made a batch of lavender shortcake using these dried flowers. Results were very good!No additives and all natural. Food grade, but not organic.Made in China, but the lavender source is not disclosed.A good value when offered at about $10 at the time of our review. That's about $2 per ounce.
