These are easy to assemble and look great. Sturdy and stable. Needs padding though.

I liked that they match my counter Color and are not too much, just enough and appropriate for my place.

We are planning to build a kitchen island for these, however looks wise these look really nice. They are very light which depending on you, is good or bad. Yes they could tip if you rock on them. The light weight is nice for skirting them in though too. They have nice sturdy frames and relatively easily to put together too. I do recommend these, but do consider whether the weight will be a positive or negative for you and your situation.
