Bought this for my wife to make hot chocolate only. Did a good job of heating and mixing the hot chocolate without a bunch of foam. That is until today. Now it won't start. There is a little micro switch that tells the controls the pot is in place. Now when she puts the pot in - nothing. I can press the switch in with a screw driver and it powers up, but with the pot - no go. What is really frustrating is the 30 day free return ended about 4 days ago.Update #1Was able to contact seller through Amazon and they are sending a replacement. Will update again when received.

I got this on Prime Day 2022 and it is probably one of my favorite purchases during the sale. I was a bit skeptical initially because there was only 2 reviews at that point which is usually a red flag. The price was also down from $99.99 to $49.99 so I was initially scared the frother/steamer was not that good but I figured I can always return when it turns out really bad. I bought it anyway since the specs were really good for the price and they were exactly what I was looking for. I was mainly looking for something easy to use, can froth and warm milk, and dishwasher safe. This product has all of those and more. I already used it for making hot chocolate for 2 people and frothing hot milk and so far I love this product and it looks to be sturdy too so hopefully it will last a long time.

I love this machine! The only downside is that it is a bit slower than I'd like and the hot chocolate setting is too hot. After experimenting with all the different settings, I make my hot chocolate on the froth setting instead of the hot chocolate setting. It will do a medium and a heavy foam with just milk, but I don't really use it for that. I make my own cocoa mix by the batch with 1 part cocoa powder, 1 part unflavored gelatin, 1 part sugar, and a pinch of salt. Then I use a heaping scoop of mix in a 16-ounce mug of milk and mix it all together using the machine.

Nice foam! But not hot, lasted 1 year, won’t start after. Good because it can go to dishwasher

I've bought two hoping that the first was a fluke, unfortunately the second one is not working now too.. possibly good for occasional use but not great for an everyday frother

The frother worked great for hot & cold foam until it just STOPPED working after only having it 2 MONTHS. For $70 I expected a better product. DO NOT spend the money on this product. I can't get a return or replacement or any communication from the company and 2 months is outside of Amazon's return policy, so now I'm stuck with a huge hunk of counter junk.

I've been using a hand held frother for years but this unit blows it out of the water and it so much easier to use! It really does make thick, frothy foam and cleans up so easily. I made sure to get a frother that detaches for easy cleaning. The ring is also easy to remove when pouring due to its design; the only frother I've seen like that.The cord stores under the unit for easy storage but I'm leaving this on the counter since I'll be using it every day. The induction mechanism is super quiet and the frother does automatically turn off so you don't have to keep an eye on it (super convenient!).You must wait two minutes before uses for the unit to cool down; a way to speed the cool down is to rinse decanter with cold water. This is a large capacity frother so it's unlikely this will be an issue.The only negative I found was trying to decipher the little icons on the front wheel when choosing how I want my milk frothed. It's especially difficult in bright light due to the reflections. I ended up labeling them as you can see from my photo.Because it is summer I've been mostly using the cold froth option to make iced coffee and flavored milk drinks. I'm looking forward to trying out the cocoa function since I usually make it from scratch on the stove; this unit will make it easier and provide a better consistency I'm sure.Overall, this unit has definitely upped my coffee game. Get some good quality coffee beans, brew at home, froth way and there is no need to spend big bucks at coffee shops.Also, the seller is awesome! I had an issue that was my own fault and they went over and beyond to remedy it.
