UPDATE 2023: Still a Pancake Every time!
The media could not be loaded. I don't do many product reviews but I feel this 10ft 3/8" mesh 1lbs net is exceptional. First off, I've been throwing cast nets over 20+ years. I've bought cheap Walmart specials to serious names like Calusa, Bait busters, Black Pearl. This is no Walmart special. I would rank this net as high as any of those name brands mentioned based on the supple net material and net panel configuration. This allows the net to open fully with no cone in the middle. What I did not like is the horn size being so large. I replaced the horn with a smaller one but most folks could just use the zip tie trick to limit bait from escaping through the horn. It is not as heavy as a Black Pear(They have heavier net as well), but I can throw this net from a dock all day long. To top it off, the customer service is top notch. In my book, Pro Gear and Pro Service. Can't go wrong with this net or this net company!UPDATE: Still catching bait, sometimes larger than the intended targets. Can't say enough good things about this net.

Great value
I’ve had this net 3 months and I'm well satisfied. I’ve used this net a lot and have not had any issues. I rinse the net after each use and hang to dry then store out of the sun. No issues of any kind. Had never used a cast net of any kind and was easy to learn. Watched several videos on YouTube.

Wish I would have got one years ago.
Great been able to get minnows weeks earlier than other year because I can reach them in deeper water.

Not durable
I have had cast nets for 40 years and never had a net less durable than this one. Very easily rips. Not sturdy. I believe the monofilament is too small a diameter to be durable. I would not recommend this net unless you plan on trying to mend it constantly.

Great for shad.
Works great for catching smaller shad. I wanted a net that could catch a little smaller shad and this works extremely well.

Really like this net. Easy to throw and opens nicely. Has a nice long rope with a neoprene wrist band. Great Value!
