My son goes through shoes in a matter of weeks due to his toe-dragging habit. No matter how much I tell him not to drag his toes he continues to do it, and he often runs on his toes as well which adds to the stress on the shoe. I've tried every shoe marketed as sturdy and durable, but they rarely last more than a month or two. These shoes lasted almost the entire school year! I bought them in September and I just ordered another pair to replace them. They are pretty worn now, but honestly still wearable, he just needs a good pair to get through the summer. Also a plus is they are wide with a very wide toe box. He's got very wide feet so these are super comfortable for him.

We liked these so much, we bought another pair when our son sized up. They have a wide fit which he needs and velcro closure. The soles have held up nicely for a really active kid.

We bought these to hike with and they have proven incredibly durable! My young son loves the ease of Velcro straps and how they make him feel a bit more independent. These babies have gotten muddy, but I just toss them in the washer! We have used them for hiking and even water play, but they could easily be a school shoe too making them versatile. They definitely make a good bang for your buck!

Extremely sturdy and well made. This is the second pair I’ve bought my grandson. He loves them. He call them his “spikes” because they have such thick tread. They are the perfect outdoor shoes for hiking, running and climbing.

As much as I love Keens, I can't tell the same with this pair. As an adult is easier for you to know if they are going to work or not, but with a child, you just notice they are not wearing them. You ask why they tell you they hurt, you keep investigating and then you test it yourself with your fingers only to find out the return window is expired. Check the interior walls of the shoes to sense if there are any bumps.

Bought these for my 10 year old grandson who knows and can tie his shoes…but prefers that faster approach of just Velcro-ing them on. These are made quite sturdy and have a toe covering for extra strength for wear. The price was great too. Would recommend.

I recently purchased these baby shoes, and there are several aspects I'd like to highlight. First, they appear exceptionally solid and boast anti-slip properties, which is a huge plus for my little one who's just learning to walk. However, they do run slightly larger than the size chart indicated, and as a result, they tend to slip off my baby's feet.Additionally, these shoes are a bit heavier than the average learning-to-walk footwear. Surprisingly, this extra weight doesn't seem to bother my baby at all. I've decided to keep them because of their discount price.

Keens are very reliable. They perform well on hikes with awesome treads. On the playground at school they stand up to fields and asphalt. The covered rubber toe is key! Highly recommend. Usually great prices on Amazon if you keep your eyes open. A bit wide but easily tighten with Velcro.
