Nursem CARING BODY CREAM – 250ml | Calming and conditioning body moisturiser for dry skin

I am really impressed with this calming body cream by Nursem. I love the brand ethos and back story - The product has been developed by a paediatric nurse to care for skin in a natural and gentle way. I think the brand was featured on Dragon's Den a while back, and their commitment to products that work well while remaining gentle and soothing is great. They also have a company policy that for every product you buy, they donate a month's worth of product to a nurse or midwife.As I work as a Nursery Practitioner, my hands take a pounding, from frequent hand washing as well as water play and all weather play. During the Covid situation, our handwashing regime intensified and we also used a lot of sanitiser, which dried my skin quite badly. I was confident that Nursem cream would help soothe my skin - and I was right. The cream is really thick, and a little goes a long way. It applies well to skin, but does take a few minutes to soak in. I have noticed a big difference in my hands and arms since using this - they are much softer than before, and feel supple without any tightness. There is a slight lemony scent to this cream, which is not unpleasant. The 250ml bottle of body cream costs £17.50 but you really do only need a small amount to be effective, and the results are very impressive. I will definitely be buying this again when this runs out.

I am always sceptical about claims for moisturisers but this one does what it says. Makes my skin soft, sinks in quickly and the fresh scent is subtle. It needs to be re-applied every time l wash my hands which is to be expected, it is very effective on the dry skin on my legs which is what l bought it for.

This moisturising body cream by Nursem is seriously good, especially if you are like me and suffer from chronic skin conditions like eczema and are having a hard time treating it. The moisturiser comes in a squeeze bottle and honestly, a small thin layer is all you need to lock in the moisture into your skin. It comes out with ease and overall is very easy to apply.I personally have eczema patches on my elbows and knees. I have been using this cream both in the morning and before bed and my eczema patches have seemed to subside and almost disappear. This is just after 2 weeks of use. Imagine what a month or two could do with consistency and patience!As for the fragrance, it is on the milder side but very refreshing. It isn't entirely explicit what the fragrance is but my best guess would be natural lemons. Very easy to apply with long lasting beneficial effects. Got it because of good reviews but made my skin really sore

I'm always a little cautious when it comes to moisturisers and especially ones for sensitive skin, but the fact they are working with nurses and midwives gave me confidence.This stuff is fantastic. I got quite sun burnt after a game of gold earlier in the week and my nose was still tingling. A small dab of this goes a long way so use with caution. It absorbs very easily into the skin and feels soothing pretty quick without feeling greasy. There is a mild fragrance that is fresh and (to me anyway) smells a little like lemongrass/ginger.This is a big tube. 250ml doesn't sound much but most tubed seem to only be 100/150 for comparison. Also, a little bit does go a long way, so 250ml should last well.My nose no longer looking like rudolph the reindeer and even better after a small tab is not tingling like a fireworks factory.For anyone with sensitive skin this cream will be fantastic and will soothe even the driest skin. Highly, highly recommended

In certain parts of my body (namely the neck and chest) I get eczema and up until recently, the rest of my skin has been generally okay, but a little bit sensitive to certain lotions and potions. However, in the last few months, the skin on my legs has been getting noticeably drier (this could be an age thing, I am unsure). So when this Nursem Body Cream came up for review, I thought I would give it ago. First thing, this cream is thick, like really thick, almost reminds me of the nappy rash barrier cream I used on my children. It does take a bit of working into the skin, but I have to say, with just a daily use after each shower, within a week, I was noticing my skin looking a lot less dry and a lot softer and smoother. I have had no adverse flare-ups, so I guess it is suitable for sensitive skin too.
