Very happy with product. Looks great. Easy installation - although watching/pausing/rewinding you-tube video vs reading a document was cumbersome. Seemed a little pricey but I feel like it is worth it after a few weeks.

Excellent product, near perfect fit. - All hardware is well engineered and sturdy. - Flush fit, looks great. - Top is very strong. - No documentation regarding the 8’ bed rail connectors, closeup and printed insert in package would be helpful - A closeup of the clip in rail insert geometry closeup, printed insert in package would be would helpful. I’d give 4stars but the dam thing is so cool, it works fantastic with my Ford F-450 Platinum. *** It’s worth the BIG $$$ THANKS.

Easy to install. Fits well. Durable. Great support. I’ve had this over a year now. The only issue I had was one of the plastic corners fell off which Bakflip replaced immediately. On the install, you need to ensure the brackets are exactly at a right angle to the bed. This takes a bit of adjusting otherwise the back locks won’t clip. My suggestion would be to increase the latch clearance a bit. I had issues with getting one side to latch but after using it for a bit, now both sides latch when I close the cover.

I don't care for the clamping system that is used, they utilize the grip of the clamp to hold the rails (and thus the entire tonneau cover) to the truck bed. The clamps otherwise are not physically attached to the rails, and if the nuts happen to vibrate loose just a little, the clamps literally fall to the floor of the bed. Murphy's Law, if it can happen, it will happen... They say it never has, but I can't in good conciousness leave my driveway with it on. From there, because I made sure the clamps were tight, the rails are slightly past vertical (even with the angle shims that were attached), so there are resulting alignment problems with the top, and it has to be worked to open, fold, unfold, and close. And I wouldn't dare loosen the nuts on the aforementioned rail clamps to get it better aligned... The little pad strips that are included are imo insufficient to protect the back window and third brake light (it's cheap, and doesn't cover the contact points adequately or at all). I'd feel compelled to get a large piece of foam to cover the back window and strap it somehow to the cover. And btw, it does block most of the third brake light. The prop rods in and of themselves are ok, but the attachment/adjustment point sucks. Once put into position and tightened, it will move if you apply some pressure to it. How tight do you have to get it before it strips out...? This is something that would be used repeatedly, No intention to be negative here as I'd prefer to be writing a positive review. But if I'm buying something at this price, I certainly do not want to be having to figure out how to modify it to make it safe and secure, or to prop it up so that it works as advertised, and doesn't break out my back window, all on DAY ONE...

This product is awesome. Love the fit, how it looks on my truck and the overall quality. This product is fairly straightforward on installation recommend two people as it is much easier with two.

This product is great! I had it on my last truck, so I knew I wanted another for my new truck. It says you can install the cover in 30 minutes. This is true, but not if you follow the included instructions. They are pretty terrible. After watching a YouTube video, it was actually a piece of cake, and the cover is working fantastic.

Cover arrived damage free. Installation was under an hour by myself. At first the clamps annoyed me and I thought I needed another hand. However, and in regards to the review that says its terrible and if loosened the clamps will just fall off, not true. What took a minute to figure out, and comparing to other clamp rail type covers I've installed, the aluminum clamps will snap into the rails. Once you figure out where to install them, "roll" them into place and they will snap into the track and stay there. This also frees up from needing a 3rd hand. Until the clamps start getting pretty tight, the rails will sit on an angle. This also had me baffled at first as I was trying to keep the rails level and as soon as I started tightening the rails would lean in badly. Once it starts getting tight, the rails will level out. Take your time, be patient, its not a hard install and looks great when complete. Oh also, until you get it really tight and the rails straighten out, the latches will not catch. So if your latches dont catch, check your rails and be sure they are level on top. Quality seems nice, looks incredibly clean, folds easily, latches nicely and feels very solid. However, mine, even after a re-install just to try, is the furthest from watertight. The next amount of wetness would be no cover at all. My entire bed was soaked after a hard Florida rain while truck was parked. This makes it hard to decide if I'd buy one again or do another soft roll up that seem way more waterproof than a cover that is 4 times the cost. But the BAK is far more secure. So, leaking is my reason for 3 stars. If it was 95% dry like my soft cover, it would no doubt be a 5 star cover.

Really nice fit. Easy to install. I like that it cannot be opened without opening the tailgate. If your tailgate locks, the cover will be secure. No cover is completely water tight. Have not tested it with a wash or rain yet but judging from how it looks, I bet this is one of the best covers when it comes to keeping your cargo dry. Looks great on the truck. Very happy with my purchase. Plus saved $100 by purchasing on Amazon vs one of the other online truck accessory dealers. For installation, read the printed directions AND watch the YouTube video. It’s only 7 minutes long but will insure a perfect fit. I rarely do reviews. But this one ranked 5 stars!! Thank you BAK Industries for a nice product!

Seems like a great product but missing several components, including the rails which are obviously very important! I have contacted Bak Industries to have the issue resolved but have not heard back yet.
