The costume is fine as-is if you want something to throw on that looks like it's in the spirit of the event, but it is *very very thin fabric*. You will feel exposed with the looseness and flimsiness of the cut and fabric.I returned it after trying it on because it would be far too thin for me to be comfortable wearing.

This was super comfy and fit as expected. We bought these for pirate night on the Disney cruise and they were great!
