You may need to pay attention to where you mount the computer
I found that the two front lights I have mounted on my handle bar were interfering with the signal from the cadence sensor. Moved the mounting around a bit, and now it's perfect. Works exactly as it should, and well made.

Very easy to install and use.
My garmin was stolen while on a trip to Italy last year. I miss all the functions it had, but I just did not want to buy another one since Garmin has no way to track it like a phone. My wife has a Sigma BC 16.16 STS, so I thought I would try it. It is simple to use and very easy to install and if someone takes it, I am not out a lot of money.

Cadence Sensor Failed Twice
This is the second Sigma unit I have purchased in the past 45 days. When my first Cadence Sensor faltered and then stopped registering, I figured I just had a bad unit. I returned it and then actually spent more money upgrading to a second 16 series model and the similar thing happened.Out of the box it worked great and the next week, rpm's would drop to zero then register (sometimes doubling my actual cadence) and then drop throughout my ride. Then it stopped working all together, even though I could hear the "click" registering as the crank passed the sensor when I got it on the stand post ride. I changed both batteries out and it worked for another day, but then stopped a few days later. What is frustrating is that just about all the other companies have systems which consistently work, and have some sort of reset button. I am going to pass on Sigma until they start advertising that they have a cadence sensor which acutally has some reliability.

BC 16.16 STS CAD Wireless (Not compatible with Strava import)
Installation: Easy, but use Zip ties to be sure the cadence sensor and speed sensor stay in place. Both vibrate out of place when secured with bands on a road bike. Adjusting the sensors the first few rides is necessary to get the most reliable readings.Instruction: Manual layout in multiple languages is ridiculous.User Interface: Settings not intuitive, yet tolerable.Overall: Bought it for the wireless Cadence. And the large display.NFC is a nice feature to export rides into the Sigma App, but not being able to export to Strava or export to a data file is unfortunate. This may be dated technology. For the price point $72 USD (May 2020) this bike computer could be better.

Fine wireless bike computer for recreational bicycling
My previous wireless computer was a victim of a crash. I really liked it. An identical model was no longer available, so I started to search online. After quite a bit of research, I settled on the Sigma model. It was not easy to find the video installation on Sigma's website, but eventually I did. It was quite helpful in mounting the computer and the speed and RPM transmitters. The massive format, printed, multi-language instructions were helpful in set-up, but were complicated: lots of lines linking steps in setting up the computer. Sometimes, I thought I was following the instructions, but I was somewhat lost. After a number of repetitions and blind alleys, I worked it all out to my satisfaction.Sigma could do its buyers a favor and include 4-6 electrical ties (probably at a cost of $0.02 ) that may be needed to mount the parts. The stretch loops that were provided did not stretch enough for me to use. Fortunately, I already had the ties. The computer has lots of data options, including a couple that may not be necessary; e.g., the calculation of gasoline saved by riding. I learned that I saved about 0.04 gallons during a 15-mile ride. One annoyance is that you have to manually advance through the computer screens if you want to access certain data while riding. My previous computer had an option to cycle through the screens.Other than having to take your eyes off the road to work your way through the screens, I find this computer to be a good choice for me, an enthusiastic, recreational rider. I do recommend picking your most important screen and sticking with it. Watch the road, not the screen. Yes, just like not texting when driving!

It works great for the price
the computer mounting tape does not hold to handle bars when you install or remove the computer

When it works its great.
First one didn't work sent back, possible the batteries are old in these units. Second one is mostly good, cadence goes out for no reason, will work great for three or for rides then not so much. Might be worth it to keep looking or maybe I just got two flakey ones.

Works on a recumbent trike
Getting a computer that works on a recumbent trike was a big concern. This one works great. I had to make a small wood spacer to get the speed pickup close enough, but that was it.

Excellent value for wireless cadence
I have the older model BC 1606L from 10 years ago. This is an updated version. Easy to install and working accurately. Excellent value for what you pay. Cannot go wrong if you don't need GPS functions.
