Mini Air Sander 3 Inch Dual Action Orbital Pneumatic Polisher for car Sanding Tool (3 inch air sander, Orange)

This little unit is just what was described. Its a solid built little tool which I found very works very well. It seems very well made and I'm able to get into tight spaces with it because of its compact design. I hadn't used one of these in a few decades, but was surprised to find this is a random orbit unit also. I must have missed that in the description. I've only owned it for a few weeks and have used it for maybe a total of one hour and it works perfectly now. The only complaint that I have is that the description indicates its a 3" sander but in parentheses it mentions a 2 " sander. Either way would work for me so I bought it, but mine really was a 2" unit, which is what I preferred anyway.

I received this as a gift as the buyer knows my extreme passion (obsession?) for keeping my car in tip top shape. As such, this will be used for buffing / polishing smaller areas of the car that are hard to reach with a 5" or 6" pad (A/B pillars, etc). I connected to my air hose just to give it a quick test and so far I am very impressed. Long term use will determine my ultimate rating, but so far so good.

I bought this to do the final polish for either poly or lacquer on furniture using a compound. Works great. Not too intense which is what I wanted because better to have a hair under powered than over so it won't leave gouges in the wood. This thing is an air hog though so make sure you have a minimum of a 6 gallon compressor.

This is a solid compact D/A sander. For it's size, it has some heft to it, and doesn't feel flimsy. It performed flawlessly during the first project, about 6-8 hours of intermittent sanding. There were parts missing from the box on my first order. Amazon was quick to replace the order with a new one. Please take note of the image posted, it includes everything to get you sanding, minus the abrasives.

It handles easily and the speed is wonderful. It doesn’t tire to use it, light and small. Exactly what I was looking for.
